Sorcery- delete and feel my wrath

Ryder looked at her and gave a small smile. "Of course. Thought it might be nice to get away for a while." The waiter brought them both menus and Ryder looked it over, his brow furrowing in deep concentration as he decided what exactly sounded the best.

Jess stopped and pulled her to sit on a bench with him. He sat back, his arm along the top of the bench behind her. "Right. So, take that couple there in the far distance. What do you think they are fighting about?"

Lana smiled sheepishly at the menu, then scooted around to where her chair was next to his. "I speak French, I can't read it."

Grace looked at them for awhile, "She's mad because he got the wrong church fir their wedding."

Jess smiled as he watched her. "Really? I think it's because he didn't show up for their aniversery dinner because his wife was back in town." he chuckled and looked back at the couple. "I mean watch their lips and listen to what I say." He cleared his throat.
"Well what did you want me to do?" He said making his voice deep, then he switched to a more feminine voice as he protested and said something about the chocolate dinosaur cake being left on the table, uneaten.

Ryder smiled and wrapped an arm around her, taking her menu an setting it down and holding his menu infront of them both as he began to name off what there was to eat. ((I haven't been to Olive Garden in forever..so I have no idea what's on the menu ha))

Grace cracked up, "Chocolate dinosaur cake?"

(Lolz ) "Chicken Alfredo. " she decided with a smile.

Ryder smiled and ordered two Chicken Alfredos as the waiter came back and looked at her. "What to drink?"

Jess smiled widely. "Not only that, but she's on a diet and she was forced to eat the cake alone. So she's mad because she gained another three pounds."

Grace couldn't stop laughing, "Why did she eat it? Why not leave he cake alone?"

Lana thought for a moment, "Red wine."

Ryder ordered the red wine and sent the waiter away. "This is alright isn't it?" he asked looking down at her, hoping he didn't interupt her plans to much.

Jess watched for a minte then glanced back at her. "Because she got depressed because he didn't show up. That and out of spite because you see, now he can't have any."

Grace shook her head unable to say a word. A smile laying brightly on her lips.

Lana looked to him, then at the view her eyes sparkling.. "Its perfect. "

"Good." Ryder said and kissed the top of her head, keeping his arm around her.

Jess smiled watching her and chuckled. "What? You don't think so?"

Lana remained in his arms till the waiter came back with the wine. After pouring two glasses she sat back and raised hers in a toast. "To us?"

I don't know if I disagree on what they were discussing...I just think her logic is a little off." Grace said when she calmed down.

Jess chuckled. "Logic is illogical all in itself." He said and took her hand and stood, pulling her to her feet. "Would you like coffee?"

Ryder lifted his glass and smiled. "To us."

Grace frowned, "What does it taste like?"

Lana sipped the wine slowly, her stomach threatening to give it back. She smiled at Ryder, "Is this another one of those places you come often outside of work?"

Ryder shrugged and smiled. "Only on the weekends." He chuckled.

Jess raised a brow and smiled. "Heaven." He chuckled and pulled her towards his favorite coffee shop.

Grace rolled her eyes and followed him.

Lana laughed and took another sip of her wine, "Did I pick good?" She asked gesturing towards the drink.

"Yes, it's very good." Ryder said as he took a sip. "Do you think you picked good?"

Jess pulled her to a little run down coffee shop and tugged her inside, the smell of warm coffee rushing over him. He took in a deep breath and sighed happily. "What do you want?"

Grace rolled her eyes again, "I don't know what it tastes like so whatever you get."

Lana looked into his eyes and smiled. "I picks perfectly. " she wasn't talking about wine anymore.

Ryder raised his brow and smiled. "you think so?" He chuckled, catching her drift.

Jess thought for a moment. "Do you like Snickers? Or white chocolate?"

Grace wrinkled her nose, trying to remember. "Give me a sec, I'm thinking."

Lana scooted closer, not really on her chair anymore. "I do." She smiled at him.

Ryder smiled, his arm wrapped around her. "Well I'm glad, because you're sort of stuck with me." he winked.

Jess raised his brow and looked at the girl behind the counter. "One peppermint mocha latte, one white chocolate latte, one snickers latte, and then a regular coffee." The girl rang him up and he paid and took her over to a table. "Now you get to try the best of the best."

Lana raised her eyebrow, "Oh, really?" she asked her eyes twinkling.

Grace grinned and picked up a cup, took a sip, and almost dropped it. "Its Hot!!!" She yelped.

"Of course it's hot." Jess chuckled. "You're suppose to blow it before you drink it. Like hot chocolate, but better."

Ryder watched her and nodded. "Yup. Whether you like it or not." He chuckled and kissed her gently.

Grace frowned and tried again, blowing on it this time. She pursed her lips, unsure if she liked it or not.

Lana kissed him back, "Good thing I like it."

Ryder chuckled and smiled widely. "Yes, I guess it is."

Jess watched her carefully as she thought about the white chocolate latte. "Well?"

Grace finally said, "It's okay." Handed it to him and grabbed another.

Lana grinned back and clung to him until the waiter came with the food and cleared his throat disapprovingly.
