I stay silent, watching him. Oddly...protective. Right? None of my charges treated me so.

Hunter shrugged and looked through the cupboards pulling out a few spices and cans of tomatoes and sauce. She then went to the fridge and found some burger. "How does spagetti sound?"

Lorrick held her on his lap, the small smile still on his face. "Then sing me one that does suck," he murmured, hugging her close.

Ben nodded to her bags of clothes. "Are you alright carrying those while you fly?" he asked when she didn't say anything.

Kylia looked at him and then down at her hands and thought for a long moment.

Lorrick listened to her, the bullet wound in his wing not bothering him as much as it had before. When her voice trickled off into nothing, the smalll smile on his face grew slightly. "I don't know what you were talking about," he murmured softly. "That was amazing."

Kylia blushed and shook her head. "No, it wasn't." She muttered and sighed looking at her hands. "Do I have to go to school tomorrow?" She asked in a more serious tone. She probably should have said today, since the sun was starting to peek through the windows.

Caleb
"Sounds good.". I smile, taking the spices from her. "Mind if I help out?"

Malakai
I nod in answer, picking them back up and fanning my wings out again, despite the looks. "I will follow" I say, taking off again, happy to be away from all of them.

Hunter looked at him curiously but shook her head. "It's not up to me." she muttered and pulled out a few pans and started the hamburger and the water for the noodles.

Lorrick sighed and looked out the window. "Normally, I'd advise it...Just to keep things as normal as you can. But since you'd be going on no sleep, I don't see what the difference would be since you'd be sleeping in class anyway." He looked down at her, a teasing smile on his face.

Kylia rolled her eyes but smiled, cuddlling him happily, her eyes drooping again. "Good. Because I wasn't going to go anyway."

Caleb
I take out a spatchula and prod the meat a few times. "up to you. You'll have an opinion with me, alright? Jeez. Don't you remember being human? Can't imagin I'll lose my touch like that just with a pair of wings."

Hunter almost cringed at his comment. It wasn't just a pair of wings. It was so much more. Her eyes got distant as she memories of the experiments and opperations ran through her mind. "Yes sir." she murmered.

Lorrick snorted softly and rolled his eyes. "I didn't really expect any different," he muttered teasingly.

Kylia looked up at him and smiled. "Besides, the boyfriend rouse would be crushed once everyone saw me walking around with an angel with a broken wing."

Ben drove home, the small appartment building looking shabby and old. After parking his bike, he looked up at the sky, squinting in the sun. It was strange to think that he was going to have to do that after his contract was over; that he was going to have to follow somebody like a shadow.

Caleb
I look over at her at her quietness. Said something wrong, I knew it this time. I silently watch the meat brown in the pan a moment. "sorry if I...offended you..." I mumble, unsure of whatelse to say.

Malakai
I spiral down from the sky, a bit reluctant to not be alone anymore. I land next to him silently, looking over at Ben a moment.

Lorrick laughed softly and nodded, expanding his right wing as far as it would go without a sharp pain shooting through his nerves. He winced. The verdict? Not very damn far. "Good point. The wing would definately be a tip off."

Hunter's face went impassive again. "I don't get offended." She said as she diced the tomatoes. "Those who get offended are usually those to high in pride." she said quietly. "Besides, there was nothing to take offence to."

Kylia smiled up at him. "Can you lay down?" she asked as she moved off of his lap.

"Welp," Ben said with a smile, his helmet under his arm. "It obviously doesn't look like much, but it's home." He took the bags from Malakai's hands before walking up to the building and shouldering open the door. "I'm on the top floor, unfortunately," he said, starting up the stairs.

Lorrick nodded, studying her. "On my side, probably."

Kylia watched him. "Can you lay on your stomach?" She asked as she searched around her room for the Icey Hot she had thrown.

Caleb
I simply say silent to that, stirring in the tomato sauce to the meat and adding whatever spices.

Malakai
I nod, following him up. Stairs didn't much bother me.

Hunter tossed the tomatoes into the meat and put the noodles into the pot of boiling water. She didn't break the silence. It was one of those "don't speak unless you're spoken to" type deals.

Caleb
Now silence was awkward to me. I glance over at her, eying her wings and realizing that I'd get them soon. "What's it like?" I ask her bluntly.
