Daughter of Darkness

(*nods, face completely serious.* Very fitting. *starts to smile, then laugh as well.))

Jamison growled as he glared at her. "Doubt you're smart enough to find out."

"Dani is a b***." Kale chuckled, wincing. He felt his eyes close again, his breathing shallow. "We'll get out of here, Sunshine. Just you wait."

Dani glared at him and pressed a button on the side, little blades coming out of the end and spinning. "Ooo, I like this one...."

XD Artemis sighed and slid him out from under her arms, retreating away now that he seemed to be halfway coherent. She didn't trust males now. "drake is going to be pissed when he sees what we've done to the cell..." she worried her lip, her voice cracking at the thought

Jamison just glared at her, not showing his fear, though at the sight of the spinning blades he had to admit he was just a tad bit frightened. His heart was pounding in his ears as he watched her.

Kale listened, hearing the worry, the fear in her voice and frowned. "He won't hurt you." he said determindly.

"he already has" Artemis replied, her voice soft

Mirissa-

"Of course its me." Her dad said laughing who else would it be?"
Mirissa fled the dream....

Dani skipped over to him, the blades lightening her mood. "I wanna draw a picture like I did on your friend." She said starting to press the stick to his chest.

Jamsion just glared at her, flinching only slightly.

Kale forced himself up with what little energy he had and looked at them both. "He won't again."

Dani began drawing a flower, "I draw flowers on all my fun people. You're kinda fun so you get one to. It means I'll be back to draw more." She dug the blades a little deeper.

Jamison glared at her, his teeth clamped shut as he uttered insults, his voice slightly strangled from the pain.

Dani finished the first flower then started on the second. "I'm not sure if I want to close your art or not....it would be nice to have more room next time then I will on your friend. His chest is covered in pretty pictures...."

Jamison had retreated into his own little world, the pain and her voice just a dull throbbing in the background of his mind.

Artemis glared at him "you can barely sit up, what do you plan to do? stop him?" her words came out rude, though they were more driven by panic. whenever someone defied him he always took it out on her. Couldn't he let it be?

Mirissa woke up and listened to them talk. She didn't say anything to let them know she was up.....

Dani continued until she was done then stabbed him a few times before putting the poker through his shoulder again, pulling it out and sending him back to his cell....

Kale smirked and forced himself to stand, though the pain of it ripped through his body in screaming agony. Dani had stabbed his feet which made it hard to stand. "I'm fine." he grumbled.

Jamison, still in his own little world, didn't really notice as they tossed him into the cell. Kale rushed over to him as fast as he could possibly go and began ripping his clothes, and Jaimson's clothes in an attempt to stop the bleeding.

"yes,and what a formidable opponent you make" more sarcasm, more fear

Kale glared at her. "Enough with the smart remarks. Help me. My buddy is over here dying and all you both can do is pitty yourselves. You are not the only ones hurting. There is a whole nation that is hurting. Grow up. Both of you. Some good you are." he growled, his panick and concern for Jamison making his words sharp and impatient as he went back to trying to fix him.

Mirissa called the shadows to help......

Artemis remained in her corner, her eyes falling distant. why should she help? no one helped her...

"Just try and think outside yourself for one minute and see the suffering that everyone else is in." Kale continued to grumble, his words still sharp, slightly harsh. His parents hadn't given up their lives so people could sit in a corner and sulk about their own problems. Jamison finally came round to the sound of Kale's angry voice. "Wha the f-"
"Language!" Kale cut him off with a sharp tone. Jamison stayed quiet, the pain racing into his body.
"That uh...garden tool sure knows how to draw blood doesn't she?" Jamison chuckled.

Mirissa had the shadows lend him strength.

Artemis bit her lip and made her way over to the boy, lending more material from her pants to bandages him with

(just before Kale went off on Artemis and Mirissa)

Kale took the material, his face stoney, his eyes like fire, his movements jerky and still filled with anger.
"Whoa, hey, watch it. That hurts." Jamison chuckled, though he was in worse shape than Kale by far.
