Adamantis: The Elementals

Linnea:
"Goodnight, Celia," I said, before closing the door. Taking a deep breath to calm my nerves, I crossed the room to the bed, but managed to trip on something large and warm (Drek). "Wha-- woah!"

Celia went back to her room muttering about late night arrivals and how she needed her sleep. Inside her room she dropped down on her bed and passed out. Exhausted.

Megan looked at him and gave him a sad smile "16."

David:
"No, I have never been to Venituce, we are actually new to Adamantis" I say putting my hands behind me and relaxing. "We just flew in a few days ago actually. I still can't get over how much of this place is plains"

Kiera:
I nod. "I agree with David, I grew up in a cave on a mountain, its unsettling being out in the open like this" I say. I look over my shoulder as if expecting to see something bigger than me coming to get me.

Brent:
I nodded, pulling out a map to show to the others. "See, this is the Nenatarn Plains," I said, pointing to the large pale green patch in the middle. "South is the Gambark Desert, north is A'nivirlin Forest, east is the Crescent Mountain Range and Mt. Caelus, and west is the Western Sea, the Cliffs of Eglane, and of course, Venituce."

David:
"Well then, off to Venituce" I say. I continue to walk. I get bored wuickly. I say, "I'm going to scout ahead". Then I pull off my sword belt and toss it to Kiera. She catches it with a talon and puts it over her shoulder. I then tear off through the plains moving at a constant speed of 60 mph, faster than any human. I was small and fast like an elf, but was very, very weak when it came to actual strength.

Kitri:
I watched David run off, impressed. "Why isn't he with the Lumenors?" I asked Kiera, curious. "He's probably do really well with them."

Celia woke up probably two hours later with a sigh and peeled herself off of her bed. As much as she hated it, it had become habit to wake up before the sun. Pulling on a light blue dress she walked down the stairs and began cleaning up the tavern part of the inn in hopes that she could be done before anyone else got up and she could relax for awhile.

Linnea:
Stretching my wings, I pulled on my boots before settling a dark green cloak over the feathers. Mornings were always the hardest time for me to keep the wings flat, so I wasn't taking any chances. Opening the door, I trotted downstairs and nodded to the girl. "Good morning, Celia."

Celia glanced up, still wiping down the tables. "Oh, good morning." Her voice implied it was anything but. She glanced at the stairs again, really wishing she could get herself to sleep longer.

Linnea:
I watched her quietly as I sat down. "Anything I could help with? You look tired."

Celia hesitated, "Just can't sleep is all. I'm almost done." She finished the table and throw the rag on the top of it before grabbing a broom.

Linnea:
"Alright. Tell me if you need help, though. Oh, by the way..." I dug in my pocket and pulled out my coin purse. "How much do I owe you?"

Celia paused for a moment, trying to think. "Two silver."
((Would that fit?))

What about two silver a night, meals included?

Linnea:
"Okay..." I pulled out a handful of coins and sorted out two silver pieces. With a twitch of my fingers, they soared across the room and hovered in front of Celia.

Celia looked at them for a moment, a small smile tugging onto her lips as she took them from the air. "Thank you." She said tucking them into a hidden pocket in the folds of her dress.

Linnea:
I leaned back, toying with my necklace. "No problem. What town is this? I didn't see any signs when I land-- arrived."

Celia tilted her head curiously, what had she been going to say? "Blue Silka." She said putting the broom away.

Linnea:
"Ahhh... hmm..." Okay, so only twenty more miles or so to Venituce. Then the search for the Elementals really begins. Consulate Machiv was going to want a report on her activites so far, as was Lord Denver. It was hard work, being a biological abomination and a spy at the same time.

Celia glanced at her curiously, and sat down across the table. Her work was done so she had time. "Going anywhere special?"

Sorry about missing the reply! Do you think it would be possible to do a flashback scene before she heads out? This really wouldn't make a whole lot of sense otherwise... :/))

"Oh... yeah, I'm headed for Venituce. Festival and all that, I'm supposed to be meeting a few people there." If I can find them. A lapse in the conversation allowed me to think back to the interesting roomate I found myself with after I tripped...

((Hehe. Not exactly what I meant, but sure. (I didn't really make myself clear, I guess...but typically, when someone says "flashback" here, they don't mean a segue into a flashback within the chat; they mean almost going back in time to work out the scene. It's like...happening now, but it's in the past. Just to fill in gaps and stuff.)

I was shocked out of sleep by some lady's foot. I looked up at her in surprise.

"Sorrysorrysorry about that!" I apologized quickly and profusely. "U-um, if you wanna stay here, I can just leave!"

Linnea:
Rubbing my head, I peered at the small dragon. He must have been only a few months old. "Oh no, it's perfectly alright. If you're content on the floor, I'll just take the bed..." A slight throbbing came from my right wing, and when I twisted around, I saw that it have unfurled partly and was completely visable. "Eh..."
