Yes, Drek would be flying. Dragons grow incredibly fast, and a healthy one should be flying within the first two weeks of its life.

I actually have to go, but I wanted to answer your question.

David:
"Should we talk to them?" I ask Kiera quietly. I look over the plains at the people. They stopped, maybe they noticed us.

Kiera:
"I don't know, maybe we should, I sense no malice" I say to David.

David:
I nod and stand up. "Hello!" I call. Kiera stays down hidden behind the grass.

Logan glanced at the family out of the corner of his eye, the mustang starting to figure out that it wasn't going to throw him again. It started to slow down and he smiled.
"Hey, boy!" The man shouted and Logan winced, turning to face the man without a word. "You interested in getting rid of this place, seeing the world?"
Logan shook his head and led the mustang towards the other end of the enclosure.
"Don't you talk boy?" Logan didn't say a word and climbed down from the horse.

I stand overlooking the city. The high clocktower starts to gong as I stand in front of it. I fall and grab hold of a ledge before hitting the ground. Then I lower myself to the street and walk off.

MEgan walked along the street feeling ackward and wierd. People were staring at her because of her father. I hate him she thougth angerly.

My wings were folded against my back because I didn't want people asking why I had the ears of an elf while having the wings of an angel. Being a Numarian was hard enough without being questioned about it. No one would pay a wandering elf any attention. I see many people paying attention to a girl. I stop and inquire of a man, "Sir, why is everyone observing this girl?"

Megan felt ackward. She walked and looked around. She looked down and tripped and fell.

The gentleman looked at this boy wiht pointy ears and said. "She is the daughter of the Prime minester...."

Drek
I looked towards the street as a group of men went stumbling from the tavern. Drunk? My attention lost as quickly as it had been piqued, I continued to search for food scraps in the rubbish around the back of the building.

((Kat, what size would the dragon equivalent of a ten-year-old actually be? I'd said that he was dog-sized, but in light of your "dragons grow incredibly fast" comment...))

Celia glared at a table with disgust, the customers had left almost everything with only a bite out of each. She shook her head, beyond words. Some people.... Well it had to be thrown out now. She picked up the plates and started towards the back.

Alistair:
"Interesting, why is she being persecuted for this?" I ask, I did not see a problem. "Has she committed some crime? If so why is she not in a jail?" I look at the girl, these people's actions puzzled me.

Well, a ten-year-old dragon would be quite large, possibly the size of a small house, depending on what they're eating. The big ones could disguise themselves as small hills. But if Drek is the equivalent of ten, he'd really be a few weeks or months old.

Brent:
I let out a breath as a young man stood from the tall grass. "Hello there! How're you?" So it wasn't the plain lion I'd been expecting, but... "Don't put away your sling," I murmured to Kitri, who nodded.

Linnea:
My wings flapped powerfully as I soared away from the fortess, en route to Venituce. At this rate, I should be there in a few days. I had no idea even where to start looking for the Elementals, much less how to hide them from Denver.

"Oh no I'm sure you'll find if angry I can be much more lethal than a plains lion" I say smiling jovially. "I am David by the way, son of Danar and Serei" I bow to him. Stupid! I think to myself, You left your sword on the ground the seconds it could take to pick it up could mean my death, you never know what type of people you meet out here on the plains. I whisper back to David, "Yes, as you have said". I hunker down lower in the grass. I fall silent and remain still, nothing more than a sea of grass can be seen of me.

Kitri:
I frowned a little, a strange feeling nagging at the back of my mind. It felt like there was someone, or something, else here, but the feeling was coming... from the grass? I shook my head, and smiled at the young man. "Hi! I'm Kitri Goudge. Who're you? Are you an elf? I've never met an elf, unless you're one, in which case you'd be the first. Where are you from? What were you doing in the grass? Aren't you afraid you'd be eaten by lions? I know I'd be, but of course I'm much smaller than you and I've only ever fought off wolves and Matthew Tennant with my sling. Matthew's a real bully, I don't think you'd like him at all."

Brent:
The second Kitri drew breath, I cut in. "We're from Hollowbee, and travelling to Venituce. I'm Brent Gavin, this little devil's guardian for the trip." I leaned over and ruffled Kitri's hair. My god, she could talk.

Yeah, he's the equivalent. So how big would a dragon be at a few months old?))

I looked up from my rummaging as a winged lady approached. I scuttled into hiding, but I was pretty sure she spotted me.

My wings were growing tired. I had been flying for quite a while, after all. Looked like the people down below me had stopped and congregated. I couldn't very well land near them... I went just a little further before I started to descend to the swaying grass.
