Re: Adamantis: The Elementals
Celia frowned, "Come on." She ordered and turned around walking into the building again. She didn't check to see if he was following. She didn't have people disobey her often.

"Erm...thank you!"
What happened to not wanting to be a burden...? I'd already accepted her food, and here I was following her into the building! But just those two words from her and I'd lost my resolve...

Re: Adamantis: The Elementals
She led him past the common room, ignoring crude comments from a few of more drunken customers.
"Whatcha' got there Celia?" A man called and she turned on the stairs with a smile. "
"Sure ain't you Smith." She said sarcastically.
The Guy laughed and she continued up the stairs. She pushed open a door at the end of the hall.
"It ain't much...."

I looked up at all the strange faces as I trotted behind her. I didn't even come up to the tops of the tables. The people were scary...and intimidating. I saw some humans and immediately got the urge to bolt, but I resisted and continued to follow Celia. I climbed up the stairs and walked through the hall after her, pausing in the doorway of the room to give her a grateful look.
"Thank you again," I said quietly before heading in.

Re: Adamantis: The Elementals
Celia nodded, "Just ask for Celia if you need anything." She said then walked back downstairs.

Ask for Celia if I needed anything... Well, okay then. With that, I yawned and curled up on the floor. I really hadn't been getting an awful lot of sleep lately...but I didn't realize how tired I'd been until I'd actually laid down. Cozy and secure, I closed my eyes and drifted off.

Re: Adamantis: The Elementals
Celia felt with the rest of the customers. Then got a lecture from Mr. Leken (her boss) about sending twelve customers running from the building with fear. Sighing she trudged up the stairs and dropped into her bed.
Re: Adamantis: The Elementals
Wings sore with fatigue, Linnea landed silently in the town square. It was dark and she needed a place to rest as it was starting to rain. Pulling her hood over her head and tucking in the black wings, she strode up to what she judged to be an inn and knocked on the door.

"Then why is she the one being persecuted. There is no reason for this torture" I say. I look at the girl again seeing she is about to cry I pull out a handkerchief and give it to her.
Megan looked at the man in shock. "What...what are you doing? Nobody looks at me and talks to me..."
Re: Adamantis: The Elementals
With a short sigh, Linnea knocked on the door again. Wasn't anyone up? The rain was coming down really hard now and she had to tuck her wings in even tighter to prevent them getting wet.

Growling under her breath Celia stomped down the steps and opened the door. "Yes?" She looked at the dragon(Linnea) and sighed. Another one? Where idiot all these dragons come from suddenly?
Re: Adamantis: The Elementals
(Linnea's a Numarian, not a dragon. She'd look like an angel with pointy ears)
Linnea smiled serenely at the girl and lowered her hood, showing her ears. She could disguise herself as either an elf or angel, but she went with elf this time. "I don't suppose you have an extra room I could pay for for the night?"

Re: Adamantis: The Elementals
((Lolz, im sorry, almost fell asleep while driving today.... ))
Celia nodded and opened the door the rest of the way. "Upstairs. We don't have very many people come through so the rooms are a little shabby." She started towards the stairs.

Re: Adamantis: The Elementals
"Thank you," said Linnea, following the girl. Lowering the hood completely, she eyed the giveaway lump in the back of the girl's dress. So she's an angel, mused Linnea. Or another hideaway, like me. She's young though, otherwise the wings would be completely hidden. "You're an angel?" she asked.

Re: Adamantis: The Elementals
Celia glanced at her wearily, "Yeah, does it matter?" She stopped next to a door and glanced at the partchment nailed next to it. Nope, the room was taken. She moved on keeping an uneasy eye on the elf.
Re: Adamantis: The Elementals
Linnea waved her hand. "No, not really. Interesting, though. Any particular reason you left home?" she asked, her own wings starting to itch a little.

Re: Adamantis: The Elementals
Celia shrugged, "My parents wanted me to get married to some 'perfect match' for me. I said no, they said no choice, and here I am." She checked another door. "Here you go." She opened it up to show a large room with a bed.

Alistair:
I smile kindly and say, "I believe I just have. How old are you?" I ask.

Re: Adamantis: The Elementals
And I just realized I switched from first to third person. Great.
Winter, that's fine. Con, sorry about that, I had a minor brain fart!
Linnea:
"Thanks," I murmured, stepping into the room. "Is it alright if I pay you in the morning?"
Kitri:
"Are you excited for the festival?" I asked. "I've never been to Venituce, have you?" Brent sighed tiredly, and I stuck my tongue out at him.

Celia shrugged, "Fine with me. Mines the room at the end of the hall with a black door. Pay me, boss doesn't like people paying later otherwise. " she smirked and rolled her eyes. "He seems to think they wont run out on paying an angel."
Re: Adamantis: The Elementals
Linnea:
I smiled slightly, thinking of my mother. A minorly terrifying woman, she and Father had both been killed for my birth. "No, I should think not," I mumbled quietly.

Celia nodded, trying to ignore the urge to ask her what was wrong. I mean come on she was a complete stranger. "Well, goodnight. " she said then started down the hall.
