Mark looked at her and sighed. "It hurts. Feels like..like your bones are breaking, your tendens are ripping, your blood vesles breaking." He looked down, masking the pain of the memories.

Brendon smiled and set the engine block down. "there. Now just need to find my hook."

Artemis shivered "ya... guess that would hurt..." she croaked

Grace smiled and wordlessly helped him look.

Brendon looked up and saw it hanging and smiled, jumping up and catching hold of it and bringing it down and hooking it to the chain. "Go over there to the control panel." He told Grace

Grace nodded and walked over. Curiously she glanced at Brendon to see if he.was looking then pressed a button.

Artemis shivered, unsure what to say

Mark ran a hand through his hair and stood. "Come on. Let's get you home." He muttered.

Brendon smiled as it lifted the block up into the air. He guided it over to the hood of the old Shelby and looked at her. "Ok, now lower it, stop when I say."

Grace hesitated looking at the switches, which one was down? She shrugged and pressed one. Then immediately stoped as the engine jerked to the side. Blushing widely she managed to get of back in place and press the right button to lower it.

Artemis grimaced, this was gunna be interesting, going back to face her parents I mean. "maybe it's best if I walk myself home" she frowned, thinking of her dad

Mark watched her and sighed, giving a small nod. "You know how to contact me if something goes wrong." He said as he walked with her to the road. "And you promise to stay safe?"

Brendon chuckled as he watched her and then held up his hand. "Ok right there is good." he waited until she had stopped, then got on his back and slid under the car and began to attach the engine.

Grace bent over the Hood to help connect the best she could from the top.

Artemis gave him a small smile and nodded, opening up her mind and making her mark appear on his hand before turning and disappearing into the darkness

Brendon smiled up at her from below the engine. "Thats' a pretty good view of you with the engine." He said with a smirk.

Mark sighed and started back to his garage and then he felt the sharp pain again, and he was out cold.

Artemis continued forward, pushing back the bad feeling she got as she walked at a brisk pace through the woods. why did her parents have to live at the edge of down. she looked around, nervous

Grace blushed, "Thanks." She said giggling and stepped back as she did the last thing.

A man stumbled in next to Artemis and looked at her with innocent wide eyes. "Uh, c-could you help me? I'm lost."

Brendon chuckled as he finished attaching it to the frame and then went to attaching everything to the gas tank and car in general.

Artemis eyed him for a second, clearly uncertain. but he seemed innocent enough... "where are you trying to get to?" she asked, peaking out at him from behind her hair

Grace watched, helping where able until he was done. Then she promptly placed herself in the drivers seat. She grinned at Brendon, her eyes daring him to make her move.

"I'm trying to get back to the road. I..uh..had to relieve myself...and so I deviated and got lost." The man hung his head, still lookng harmless. Puh, she's eating right out of the palm of my hand. Stupid girl. I'll get those brothers now.

Brendon chuckled and climbed out from under the car and shut the hood and watched her, raising a brow he went over, and tickled her till she moved over, threatening to blow on her stomach again.

Artemis studied him for a moment more and nodded, deciding to accept his story. "I'm heading that way, if you follow me I can lead you to it" she offered him a kind smile and tucked a dark strand behind her ears as she set off
