Alison walked down the hall. She felt ackward having people stare but she pushed through the hallways. High School sucked for her but she went every day.

Jacob was talking with his football friends outside.

Xavier walked through the doors of the school building. He was a transfer student. He walked around attempting to find the office. He finally stopped a girl (Alison). "Could you point out the office for me?" he said, his Italian accent thick.

Amelia let out a sigh. She was completely lost. It was her first day at this school and she was outside getting ready to go inside. The school was so much different from her old one.

Alison looked at him and sighed "Follow me I will show you."

Jacob saw a girl walking confused and he went up "Anything I can help you with?"

Xavier nodded and smiled. "Thank you Miss."

Amelia looked up at the boy. "Um, actually yes. Could you tell me where the office is?"

Alison nodded and lead him her eyes down on the floor.

Jacob pointed in the direction "That way."

Xavier looked at her. "What is your name? I'm Xavier."

Amelia nodded and hoped she wouldn't get lost. "Thank you."

"Alison." Alison said looking up and giving him a sad smile.

Jacob smiled and said "Let me take you there."

Xavier smiled. "I'm Xavier. Alison is a beautiful name." He looked at her quizzically. "Why are you sad?"

Amelia smiled. "Thank you. I'm Amelia."

Alison smiled and shrugged "Nothing... just...nothing." She looked at people staring at her and she looked down.

Jacob smiled "Im Jacob. What brought you to this school?"

Xavier stopped and grabbed her arm. He didn't like the idea of her being sad for some reason. "You're lying."

Amelia smiled. "Exchange program. I'm from France."

Alison pulled her arm away. "No im not..."

Jacob smiled "Cute french girl must be my lucky day."

Xavier sighed and looked into her eyes. "I'm sorry Alison. It's just you look sad. I'm curious."

Amelia smiled slightly but did a mental eye roll. She had know to many guuys like that already. "Lead the way."

Alison nodded "Its fine...." She said spinning on her heels "This way." SHe said wanting the subject to drop.

Jacob nodded and lead her to the office. "Here we are."

Xavier nodded and followed her. "So what is the school like?"

Amelia smiled at him. "Thank you Jacob." She opened the door and went inside.

Alison shrugged "Typical high school There are the jocks geeks popular girls and people like me." She said with a soft laugh.

Jacob chuckled "No problem." He followed her in.

Xavier nodded. "And what exactly are people like you?"

Amelia went toward the receptionist and realized he was following her. "Um, I need my schedule. I'm Amelia Blake."

"Emo." Alison said walking towards the office.

Jacob smiled and watched.

Xavier frowned slightly and knew he wouldn't fit in. He really didn't care, but he did care what Alison thought about him. "Oh."

Amelia got her class list and looked at it for a moment. She turned around and looked up, seeing Jacob. She walked toward him. "What's wrong?"

Alison nodded "So... Where are you from?"

Jacob smiled "Nothing at all. Whats your first class?"
