Daughter of Darkness

Jack tightened his fists, the urge getting stronger as he kissed her back, not wanting to break away from this perfect moment.

Mirissa smiled and let the next kiss get even deeper, the strange feelings coursing through her body. She tightened her arms around his neck and kissed him over ands over.

Jack tightened his fists. There was no way he was screwing this up. But as the kisses got deeper, his hands loosesned some, and they roamed over her back ontop of her clothes.

Artemis's eyes opened wide, her feet taking her toward the strange, colorful things on their own accord "what are these?" she breathed, touching the petal of one gently

Mirissa shivered beneath his touch, unsure of what she thought of it. So instead of thinking she held him tighter with the arms around his neck. Mirissa couldn't figure out what all feelings were, her thoughts were jumbled as her body seemed to have a small fire.

Jack tried to pour his love into the kisses so that she could feel it. His hands reached the edge of her shirt and as soon as his fingers touched bare skin his hands balled into fists to keep from doing anything stupid.

Kale smiled as he came up beside her. "They're called violets. They are a type of flower."

Mirissa froze beneath his lips, unsure of his hands touching her skin. She felt them curl against her and she let her body loosen up again as she started kissing him back again. His touch was soft, different then the rough touch of the guards. She could like his touch.

Jack kissed her again and pulled away to look at her, his breath slightly ragged. He could feel himself starting to loose control. He sighed and just held her, resting his head ontop of hers. "I love you Mirissa."

Mirissa smiled and released his neck to curl her fingers up against his chest. She twisted her head to kiss him again. "I love you too Jack." She whispered to him.

Jack forced himself not to wince, his chest still being a little tender. He kissed her back, his heart hammering happily at her words. She said she loved him. That, right there, was reason enough for him to fight for freedom.

Mirissa let the kiss get deeper than the others as she pressed herself up against him as much as possible and smiled at him. "I do, I love you." She murmured again.

Jack smiled in the kiss, trying very hard to control himself. "I know." He murmered against her lips. He sighed and pulled back and looked at her then kissed her nose, resting his head against hers.

Mirissa curled up against him and smiled keeping her head with his. She wasn't tired anymore but there was no way she was going to move away from him. She kept her gaze on his face as she rose a hand and gently traced his jaw line, then his lips. She stared into his eyes and smiled again. "You have beautiful eyes." She murmured then blushed.

Jack smiled and chuckled. "Yours are more beautiful." He said as he rubbed her back gently. "Like someone stole the stars from the sky and put them in you eyes." He felt pretty proud of himself for being able to stop like he did. He usually didn't have such great control.

Mirissa giggled and blushed, "Thanks." She blushed even further and continued tracing his face with her fingers, wanting to memorize it for when she couldn't see be wanted to kiss him anyway. Her fingers then lowered to his neck and she kissed it softly.

Jack gave a small smile, a shiver running down his spine, closing his eyes and resting his head against hers. "You're making things difficult." He murmered.

Mirissa's smile got even wider, "How so this time? I believe that is usually something I do." She kissed his neck again, at the base of his throat. Then a little higher.

"You're making it hard to control myself." Jack murmered as he brought her lips to his, kissing her gently.

Mirissa's eyebrows drew together as she kissed him, trying to figure of what he meant. Her eyes got huge as she got it. "Oh." She kissed him again trying to decide what she thought of that. She put her hands back against chest and let the kiss continue.

Artemis brought one her to face, trying to inspect it clearer "oh!" she exclaimed, breathing in "they smell... wonderful" she buried her face in a pile of them

Jack kissed her back for a little while longer before reluctantly pulling away. He watched here and sighed.

Kale smiled as he watched her. "Come here, I want to show you something." Kale held out his hand to her again.

Artemis placed down the flowers and stared at his hand, hesitantly placing hers back into it again

Mirissa's eyebrows drew together as he pulled back, a slight frown forming on her lips as she tried to figure out why. She looked into his eyes again then echoed his sigh with one of her own before laying her head against him. She musta done something wrong.

Jack held her close. "I'm just trying to be good." He murmered as he rubbed her back gently.

Kale smiled and led her to the back porch. There was an off shoot that led to a little green house out back. "Come on, I think you'll like it." He said as he walked her to the door and opened it up.

Mirissa didn't say a word, instead hiding her head in his chest, gently so not to hurt him. Sure, she was happy he was a good enough Guy to want and be good, not just act as the guards and take whatever he wanted. She loved that he wasn't like that. But she couldn't help but still feel as she did something wrong for him to be able to stop as easily as it seemed to her.
