Alice walked alone in the streets looking behind her back making sure she was alone. She heard someone cough and she ran. Some one was watching her.

Tori ducked in an alley to make sure no one was following her. She'd do this for days, if she felt she was being followed. She hid behind a dumpster, very exhausted, but she knew she had to keep going.

Alice could hear someone's thoughts and it was the thought of finding her.

Tori forced herself to stand and continue down the dark alley. She occasionally stumbled over her own feet. It had been days since she last ate, and the result of that was catching up to her. "Gotta keep going," she told herself.

ALice ran faster down the alley. SHe ran out onto a empty street and she couldnt think. So many thoughts rushed into her head ans she screamed.

Tori's head shot up, now fully awake. She thought she heard someone scream. She hurried to the end of the alley to see a girl running across the street.

Alice screamed and fell on the floor clutching her head. "STOP!!!" She screamed "Leave me alone!!!"

Tori ran to the girl and knelt beside her. "Are you all right? What's wrong?"

Alice couldnt stop screaming.

Tori held her in her arms, trying to calm her down. "Shh, it's all right. Nothing's happening to you. You're fine now."

She walked along the street, at ease only with her feeling of her pale, delicate hands buried deep in Yami's black fur as he walked beside her, guiding her. Everything around her felt empty, cold... It sent shivers down her spine. Although it felt empty, she knew they were everywhere. She shouldn't even be walking around like this but her legs ached from the stiffness of crouching and sitting for hours on end. This was a horrible way to live.

Another cough shook her body and she grimaced. Where did they get the idea to use smoke screens? One ninja movie to many, she thought dryly but looked up at the sound of rapid, fleeting footsteps ahead of her. Eyes widening a bit she realized the person was running from her. Someone like her... Before she could even think, she began racing after the person. "H-Hello! Wait! Wait a minute!" She finally caught up, eyes wide and filled with concern as the person, who she found to be a girl, collapse to the ground screaming. Naturally, she made a move to help, but was caught off guard by another girl coming in to help. Another one...?

Alice screamed and the pain increased. "HELP ME!!!""

Tori held her closer. "All right, don't worry. I'm here. I'll help you. You just have to tell me what's wrong." It tore at her heart to see someone like this.
