Love Bites Hard!!!!!

Katherine looks down as she sits in a chair not getting in the water as she listens in on the conversation going on in the house"who is here?"she said

Victoria kept her head down as she stood. She followed him quietly. Her mind kept going over everything that had happened.

Drake comes swimming back to the edge and pulls himself out. "I don't know, but I'm going to find out. Time to go back to acting like a slave though." He smelled the air, smelling vampires. He smiled at her sadly and offered her his hand to help her up. "We've got to act like master and slave so they don't kill us."

James walked back into the living room with his usual grace. "My other slaves are else where and who knows what my brother is doing. My own personal slave will be serving us tonight." He sat on the couch. Jessica yawned and studied her nails. "Get us a drink." James's eyes flickered to Victoria, but it was quick, enough the others hadn't seen it.

Victoria gave a small bow and went to the kitchen. She prepared them a drink. She took in a deep and silent breath and walked back in. She gave them their drinks and bowed.

James refrained himself from saying thank you, instead and nodded his head and took a sip of the blood/wine. They talked for a long time, talking about the kills they've made and the claims they've made. James mentally winced as he retold of his deeds. He didn't know what Victoria would think of him after this.

Victoria straitened and waited for orders like a good slave would have. She listened and kept from looking at James. She knew he was the prince and that he was harsh, but to hear him talk about it made her heart drop slightly.

Katherine nods as she takes his hand and gets up than goes back to being a slave and goes into the house and cleans the house to make it spotless clean"as you wish"she said

Drake sighed. "Thanks." He left her with a painful glance, not liking leaving her, then enterd the living room. "Hello there brother. Never told me you had guests." He moved his silver hair out of his face to reveal cold silver eyes.

James nodded stiffly. "They need a place to stay tonight Drake." Drake nodded, stole a quick glance at Victoria, but didn't stare long, for he was suppose to act as though they don't exist. "I'll have a few slaves prepare their rooms later." He went to sit by him. Jessica gave Drake a sickly sweet smile. They'd been together a long time ago, but their was no love between them. She purred, "Nice to see you again Drake." Drake stiffend and replied in an emotionless voice. "Nice to see you to Jessica."

Victoria quickly glanced at Drake, but then looked down again. She listened silently.

Katherine looks down as she kept her head low properly bows to her Master waits for commands not looking at him or Sir James thinks of how Drake was happy to see the girl again her dead heart was shattering to pieces and stands there waiting for commands

Drake stayed stiff the whole time, not very fond of Jessica. She had killed off the slaves last time they were here, but that was way before these other slave were here. It was in the seventies when they'd last stopped by. He made short comments, but other wise tried his best to show his displeasure.

After a few more hours and more drinks James stood. "I think it's time we get to bed." He ordered a few slaves, using a sharp commanding voice to get the guest rooms prepared. Jessica got up and her two partners followed her. She already knew the house from past experience.

Drake rubbed his head, relieved to be rid of them for tonight. "That went well."

James relaxed as well, but didn't look at Victoria.

Victoria relaxed when they left as well. She looked at James, curiosity filling her features. She watched him for a moment.

James stood and watched as some slaves picked up the glasses. "I'm going to bed." He got up and went up the stairs. He turned around and finnaly looked at Victoria. "Comeing?"

Drake looked between the two with a knowing look.

Katherine just stood there looking at the ground not saying a word not even looking at drake or james her heart was shattered waiting to be dismissed so she could go outside or to an empty room that no one but Drake knows about

Drake saw the sad look on her face. He got up and walked over to her, he actually felt his heart break at her expression. "What's wrong love?" He pulled her to him in a hug, trying to comfort her.

Victoria nodded and followed him. She was completely silent as she climbed the stairs. Every once in a while she glanced at James.

James felt her eyes on him every once in a while. "What is it you want to say?" He got to his door and turned to look at her.

Katherine looks away"n-n-nothing,Master"she said in a sad tone. she waits for his command to be dismissed

Victoria sighed and looked at him. "I was wondering who the female vampire is and I also wanted to know why you told me not to take anything to heart."

James frowned. "The female vampire is an old 'friend' of me and my brother. We were stupid then. She's the leader of the concil, someone even above me." His face was dark.

Drake pulled her with him to the couch and he held her, trying his best to comfort her. He whispered in her ear, "Please tell me."

Katherine says nothing anymore just keeps quiet as a normal slave

Drake takes a deep breath frustrated. "I can't help you unless you talk little love." He kisses her cheek.

Katherine looks at him"it's nothing,Master"she said

Victoria watched him, a small frown forming on her lips when he frowned. "I see. Why did you make it such a point to tell me not to take anything to heart?" she asked curiously.

James sighed. "Because all that's in the past."

Drake growled low in her ear. "We're not moving from this spot till you tell me love." He kissed behind her ear.
