James exited the store with a corton of milk.

Nicola sighed, streaching her legs out on the park bench and laying back for a moment to enjoy the feel on the sun on her skin for a moment before sitting up and scowling. No rest for her she thought as she tugged her cell from her pocket and glared at the screen as she read the message from her father.
What are you doing Nicola? I know its not your job.
Irritated she peeled herself from the bench and started towards the store only a block away. She couldn't do anything on an empty stomach, of ft she was sure. Not really paying any attention to where she was going Nicola ran right into a solid object
Annoyed she looked up to see a man, wonderful. She scowled further, no way she was going to apologize.

James stiffend, smelling hunter. He didn't say anything. He glared down at her and his eyes flashed silver. Damn it. He went around her and took off running.

Nicola cursed and spun around after him, great! The one time she wasn't prepared is when she finds a freak. Scowling even further she sped up, getting ready for a fight.

James made a sharp turn into an alley.

*sighs*

((Hmm, kk lolz, ask Ella sometime about my charries and their thing for daggers and Guy's chests.........and blood.......))

Nicola scowled even further if possible and followed k to the alley, her fingers resting on the hilt of the sharp dagger in her belt. Grasping it lightly in her palm she leapt forward and swung at his back.

James twisted and shifted into his very, VERY large blue silver dragon form He hissed as the dagger scrapped harmlessly against his scales.

(LOL! KK. *coughs* soft point on dragon behind ear or belly. XD)

Nicola jumped back, holding the dagger tighter in her fist as her eyes scanned for an opening. Upon finding one she leapt forwards again as if going towards its head before dropping to the ground suddenly and striking out at its underbelly.

James gave a screech and reared back. He swiped at her with sharp claws.

Dropping to the ground and rolling to the side she winced as one of the claws caught her shoulder. The scowl returned to her lips as she lunged at him again, first swinging at its belly before gripping its scales and swinging onto the dragons back to go for the other soft spot.

James shook himself. He had an idea, but he knew it was risky. He really didn't want to be slayed. He shifted back into human form and struggled out of her grip and backed away in a crouch.

Nicola held the dagger tightly in her palm in front of her wearily, a few drops of blood falling from her injured shoulder. "What are you doing?" She demanded.

"This." He shifted back, having just used that form to get out of her reach. He then charged her, his mouth open and ready to strike.

Nicola cursed loudly and dropped to the ground, deciding to try an equally daring move as she stayed down, holding her blade towards the soft underbelly of the dragon, seeing a small chance of impact. A very, very small chance.

Katarina: "I wish it would rain" I thought to myself as I leaned against the brick wall, watching the cars pass on the thriving street. "The rain hides everything all too well". Rain would also bring even the tiniest bit of pleasure to my painfully boring day. Danger lurked in the shadows, I knew, but yet it ceased to ever find me. I suppose I should be thankful for that fact, but I still found myself wishing that something interesting would come along. I continued to head down the street, listening to the murmured words in cafes, and observing every person that walked by. Ahead was a park, and my feet steered me to it.

James tried to stop but ended up sliding into the blade. He clenched his teeth not wanting to give her the pleasure of hearing his pain. He shifted back into a human and clenched his stomach.
