Dragon's Blood

Xavier smirked. "What? You don't think we're completly clueless about your kind do you? I mean come on, you guys don't hide secrets very well when your lives are at stake."

Celia wrinkled her nose and dropped her eyes. Staring at the Pepsi with annoyance she started to pop the top. She really didn't want to take anything he gave her but she was thirsty and Pepsi happened to be her most recent pop addiction.

Xavier gave a small smirk and started towards the stairs. "This way." He started up the stairs heading towards the guest rooms.

Glaring at his back she took a small sip and followed him with annoyance. Could he leave her alone to think for a moment? He already had her oath, what else did he need?

Xavier came to a door and opend it. He looked in at the normal sized room. In the back right corner was a queen sized bed, to the left a dresser and a door to the left of it a closet. "This'll be your room."

Taking a quick look inside she nodded with another sip of her Pepsi. "Alrighty then. A bedroom, is that all you brought me over here for? " She asked stepping past him and sitting the drink down on a coaster.

Xavier put up a bored expression. "Pretty much. We'll train soon, and have dinner. Ever learned any kind of self-defense without wepons?"

Celia gave him a weary expression. "A little." She said after a moment and turned away to explore the room. "What's for dinner?" She opened up the closet as she spoke.

Xavier eyed her for a bit, then shook his head. "Tacos." He chuckled and made his way to the kitchen.

Celia waited till he was gone to shut the door into the room and sit down on the bed. It was as if everything hit her at once and a small sob found its way out of her to be followed by another. A few tears slipped down her cheeks as she curled up on the bed and let herself go for a moment, sorrow worming itself deep into her heart.

Xavier frowned as he heard her crys upstairs. He shook his head, getting rid of the guilt and continued making the tacos.

Celia laid there curled up on the bed for a long time before she pulled herself up and made her way across the room for the pop. Taking a slow sip she looked at the window to her room and cried a little more. She wanted nothing else but to jump out the window and fly, to be free. But she couldn't. Not right now. Grabbing an outfit that barely matched from the girlish clothes stuck towards the back of the closet she slipped into the bathroom and stepped into the shower, humming a sad song under her breath.
