Wishing stars

Jean looked up at him and smiled, giving a small nod. "Alright, we can do that. Just as long as we can have the heater on," she gave a small laugh and turned to the cashier and paid for her items. She took the bag and then with her hand in his, walked with him back towards the car. "Can we go to the park and sit in the car there?" She asked a little excitedly. She hadn't been to the park in a while.

Jaxon: I chuckled. "Of course," I said. "And yeah, the park sounds like a great idea. It's really nice out today, might as well make use of it." I was glad to see her excited and happy. It looked really good on her.

Jean smiled widely as they reached the car, all the events from before seeming to fade into the past. Nothing mattered at the moment except for her, Jaxon, and the park. She quickly got in on her side and pulled her jacket tight around her, waiting eagerly for him to start the car so she could have heat.

Jaxon: I got in and started the car, this time managing to actually get to the park without getting lost. "Hey, I did it," I said, stopping the car when we got there.

Jean couldn't help but giggle at him and shook her head as if he was the silliest boy in the world. She turned up the heater, then climbed into the back seat and streached before sitting up again and looking at him expectantly. She would get out of the car...later. When she wasn't so cold.

Jaxon: "Want me to carry you out?" I asked her not sure if I should turn the engine off or not. Hopefully, the temperature outside would be bearable for her. Or maybe we should just sit in here and talk. This car was comfy too, in its own way.

Jean shook her head and watched him. "It's too cold out there at the moment...maybe a little later when I get my heat back...if that's ok." She bit her lip, hoping she didn't sound to bossy. She would go out with him...in a bit. She just didn't want to go outside now. She was just barely getting warm.

Jaxon: I shrugged. "Yeah, it's fine. I just want you to be comfortable." No need to push her too far. I didn't want her blacking out again or anything. Being around made me hyperaware of what she could and couldn't do...
