Lily: I chuckled. "So? Books are good. They make you smart." i said, smiling. I glanced back at the herd. "Sure. Its probably a good idea for me to get to know them." i said. It was good to know all teh animals in a new place in case one got hurt or needed to be separated from the others for whatever reason. Being able to tell them all apart and know which ones to look out of r was all important.

Ravyn wrote:Jared: I got Rain framing nicely and began putting her through her paces, working on extensions and collections, larger transitions (trot to halt, halt to canter, etc.), and a few flying changes across the diagonal. Flying changes were something i had to keep well practices, since they were immensely beneficial when showjumping. I was quite focused in what i was doing, not noticing that i had gained an audience of one.

Madison watched intregued by Jared. She liked the way he handled his horse. It was interesting to see the relationship between him and his horse Rain. Madison thought for a moment on how people thought of her and Moheo's relationship. Madison snapped out of it and watched him again.

James walked up the porch steps and opend the door, and winced slightly as it squeaked. He'd have to oil it later. "This way." He grinned.

Drake chuckled and hoped over the fence. He looked back making sure she didn't need help over and laughed as he felt a nose nudging his pockets for treat. He reached back and patted the paint foal.

Luna: I hopped the fence easily and followed Drake over to the horses, smiling a bit at the curious foal. Foals had always amused me. I remembered Titan as a baby. It was hard to believe such an awkward hyper little creature could become the powerful even-tempered animal he was today. It was always interesting to watch horses change and grow and learn. Best thing in the world.

Drake stroked down the colts neck as others came to investigate in the hopes of a treat. He chuckled. "Sorry guys no treats today. I believe you've ate me clean out of apples." He playfully glared at him.

Eliza smiled as she followed him. She winced mentally at the squeak. Her smile widened into a grin when she saw him grin as she went through the door. "Thank you."

James chuckled and followed her in, where he went to showing her the house. He picked up the smell of somthing sweet and followed it to the kitchen to find some cookies laying out. He licked his lips and grabbed on. "Have one, they're good."

Eliza smiled and followed him contently. She smiled when she smelled the sweet smell of cookies. She grinned and grabbed one happily when they were in the kitchen. She took a bite and it was like heaven for her. She looked at him with bright eyes.

Eliza downed the rest of her cookie and nodded. "Yes please." In that moment of her happiness, her British accent slipped out. She gave a small smile and grabbed another cookie.

Eliza also smiled. "I want to say no, but I am." She shrugged and dipped the cookie in her milk and took a bite. "Actually, I'm very British," she said after she swallowed. She watched him for a moment, a smile still across her lips.

James stared out the kitchen window looking thoughtful as he pretty much just thought about his past, how lucky he was to be here and all that....

Eliza continued to watch him and raised an eyebrow. She tilted her head to the side slightly. "What are you thing about?" She asked softly, her eyes bright and filled with curiosity. If he ever needed a friend I could be there for him... She thought to herself.

James blinked, comeing out of his thoughts. "Nothing." That was his usual answer, his brother the only one that knew the pain they'd both endured.

Eliza frowned, knowing that that wasn't the answer. "Tell me the truth James, you can trust me," she said softly. She watched him and hoped he would actually tell her instead of lie. After all, she wanted him to be able to trust her as a friend.

James looked away and went to the sink to wash his hands, cleaning already clean hands. "Like I said, nothing." He had troubles trusting anyone, the only person he trusted was Drake.

Eliza let out a silent sigh and looked down. She had a feeling it all had to do something with a troubled past, which she could understand. "No, it's not. I'm not stupid enough to believe you saying that, although my guess is you were thinking about a past, probably a troubled past..."

Eliza looked up and nodded. "Yes please." She felt a bit upset that he seemed to not trust her at all, but then again if she was in his shoes she would have stormed out a while ago due to her short temper. She was happy that he hadn't left at least.

James exited the kitchen, motioning her to follow as he made his way down a hall with five doors on each side. "Each level of this house has guest rooms for students. The top floor holds the master bedroom, and at the end of this hall...." He opend the door to a large indoor pool. "Here's where we spend our time off the horses."

James chuckled. "And that's where we spend our time when we're bruised from falling or getting bucked off." He pointed over towards a hot tub. "Which is where I spend most of my time when training a new horse."
