Eliza was slightly surprised about the arm around her. She looked up and smiled a small smile. "Um, actually, could you possibly tell me where I could practice jumping?" Her eyes locked on him and her smile grew a puny bit.

James smiled. "It's just to the right of us actually. It's just a right from the arena." He squeezed her shoulder and slipped it back to his side.

Eliza smiled a small smile at him. "Okay, thank you James." She was comfortable around him, more so then anyone else, aside from her grandfather, and she kind of liked being around him. She pushed the memories and thoughts to the back of her head at the moment.

Eliza's smile widened the slightest when he asked her what she wanted to do and she shrugged. "It's up to you. I just came here and have no clue what everyone around here does for fun." A lock of hair fell in her face from her ponytail and she decided to take her hair down.

James shrugged. "Pools open and clean. Could do that, or would you like to learn how to play pool? We've got a game room upstairs. Never make a bet against Drake though, you'll almost always lose. I think he cheats but he swears it's just luck." He shook his head.

Eliza's smile widened slightly and looked at James. "I would kind of like how to learn to play pool, but it's up to you. I won't," she said, a light trace of amusement in her eyes. She was starting to feel better around him and for some reason, he chased away the memories better then anything else.

Eliza chuckled and her eyes brightened. She smiled widely and realized she was enjoying being around him; he erased memories and eased pain, something no one could do. He had also earned her trust. She went through the door and looked back at him. "Lead the way, James."

James straightend and lead her through a few more halls before coming upon a staircase. He lead her up it and opend the second door to the left. Inside were multiple games and in a corner three tables for pool. "Ready to learn from a pro?" (Me really don't know how to play...only once have I learned, completely forgot. I stick to my card games. XD)

Eliza followed him, a wide smile on her lips that met her eyes. She looked around and when he said pro she raised an eyebrow. "Yes. Oh, so you're a pro?" Her eyes locked on him. (I've never even learned... XD)

Ravyn wrote:Jared: I got Rain framing nicely and began putting her through her paces, working on extensions and collections, larger transitions (trot to halt, halt to canter, etc.), and a few flying changes across the diagonal. Flying changes were something i had to keep well practices, since they were immensely beneficial when showjumping. I was quite focused in what i was doing, not noticing that i had gained an audience of one.

Madison watched intregued by Jared. She liked the way he handled his horse. It was interesting to see the relationship between him and his horse Rain. Madison thought for a moment on how people thought of her and Moheo's relationship. Madison snapped out of it and watched him again.

(of course you can Red. ^^)

James smiled. "As long as Drake isn't playing." He got one of the pool sticks off the wall.

Eliza smiled widely and got her own pool stick. She stared at it kind of like it was a snake or something and continued to do so for a moment and then looked back up at James. "So he's better then you?"

James scoffed. "Like I said, I think he cheats." He chuckled and put down his own stick and moved to stand behind her. "Hold it like this." He made it to where she rested it on her fingers and he held back a shiver as their arms brushed.

Eliza chuckled softly and smiled. She did exactly as he showed her and held back a shiver when their arms brushed. She glanced at him through her hair and quickly looked back where she was supposed to. She tried to pay attention, but her attention kept drifting to him.

James stood behind her, leaning his head over her shoulder and grabbing the pool stick as well, guiding her hands. "Draw it back and forth likes this, pick the ball you want to use the white one with, and then draw back and hit it."

Eliza did as he told her once again, but only half of her attention was on that. The other half was on him and she was trying very hard to focus on his words and everything else. She tried to put all of her focus on his words, she really did, but half of her attention stayed on him.

James held back a laugh as her first shot missed. "Let me help." He helped her aim, then lessend his grip on the stick. "Try again." He was enjoying the feel of her against his chest as he leaned over to help her.

Eliza frowned slightly when she missed. "Alright." She relaxed slightly and let him help her. She was enjoying him being that close. If her goofing up meant him helping her like that every time, then she was very tempted to keep goofing up...

She got it this time and smiled, his warm breath stirring her hair. "Nice job. Having fun?" He tilted his head, looking at all the balls still on the table.

Eliza smiled. "Yeah, I am I guess. Pool is an interesting game, but I must say i prefer card games." Her smile widened and she turned to look at him. Her cheeks grew a light pink due to how close her turning had brought them.

James stayed where he was, not wanting to move. "I know a few games. I'm not really good at teaching someone how to play them though."

The color on Eliza's cheeks faded some as she stayed where she was. She looked into his eyes. "Really? What games? You seemed like a pretty good teacher for pool, so why wouldn't you be a good teacher for anything else?"
