Eliza smiled and looked at the hot tube. "Could 'ave used one of those when I was training Hades." Her smile widened slightly. She looked at him and realized he had laughed. "What's so funny?" She asked clueless.

James shook his head. "Nothing. Just memories." He remembered how he and Zeus use to loath each other. He could've sworn that horse was doing everything in his power to make things difficult, but after a few events....things changed.

Eliza's eyebrows raised slightly from confusion, but she had a feeling that it had to do with memories. She watched him a moment and then looked around, still awe struck.

James turned back to her. "Wanna see the library?" He slipped past her back into the hall. "I'll bet you've never seen as many as we have."

Eliza looked at him. "Of course," she said brightly and began to follow him. She loved to read and already knew she would probably love the library, but her mind did go over not so pleasant memories that involved her parents. She bit her lips and tried to force the memories away.

James made a few turns and opend the large doors to the library. "Here you go." Five rows with ladders laid against them were filled with books. Their were a few desks also piled with books, and to the right a fireplace with two comfy chairs, and in the middle of the place a large round rug on the floor with the family crest to the two that ownd the ranch, though right now they were away on vacation.

Eliza's eyes widened and she turned around, her eyes scanning the room, in awe. There were so many books and she was in heaven. Normally she would have thought about one memory, but that one memory was in the back of her mind.

James chuckled at her shocked expression. He pointed to the top rows and made his way down, naming off the kind of books. "Fictions, Non-fictions, romance, history, and mystery."

Eliza felt a bit of color come to her cheeks because she was slightly embarrassed about how awe struck she was acting. Her eyes followed his his finger as he pointed to the rows of books.

James looked around him. He use to bring past girlfriends in here and show them this place, but they couldn't care less. He looked at Eliza and smiled. "It's about time I find somone that loves books to."

Eliza smiled as she looked around again. She had a feeling she would be spending a lot of her time here. She looked at James, her smile widening slightly. "So you love books?" Her smile turned into a small grin. Normally she did not meet people who loved books, let alone a guy.

James nodded. "It was the only way for me to escape my past." He walked along one row. "All the new books are usually here. The owners wife goes to a lot of book auctions."

Eliza nodded in complete understanding. "Mmmm, I can relate," she muttered softly and quietly under her breath. She followed him along that one row, her eyes scanning the books. This place, she knew, would be like an area of heaven to her. A memory came up in her mind and she stopped dead in her tracks, her face paling as the memory played in her head. She tried shaking it out of her mind.

Eliza quickly looked away and swallowed the tears that were starting to well up behind her eyes. She took in a deep breath. "I'm fine," she muttered softly, but her somewhat shaky voice betrayed her. She gave herself a mental kick for not keeping her emotions more closed like she normally did.

Eliza closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. "Most of the time memories assault me. The memories aren't good, they're bad. They have to do with my parents and up until I was fourteen." She swallowed and opened her eyes, but she couldn't look up at him. "My grandfather decided to take me to live with him here in the U.S. when I was fourteen. After my father did... things." Her eyes stayed glued to the ground and a single tear rolled down her cheek.

James reached up instinctivly and wiped away that tear. "My mother was verbally, and on occasions, physically abusive. My dad was physically abusive, and a drunk and drug dealer....after finnaly having enough me and my brother ran from home and ended up here. The horses have helped us a great deal in healing. Mentally of course. We still have our scars."

Eliza swallowed and finally glanced up at James. "I'm sorry, that must have been tough." She watched him and crossed her arms over her chest. She realized for her to have told him, she trusted him. She didn't necessarily trust easy. "They really do help."

James ran his hand through his hair, a nervous gesture. "Yeah, they do." She dosn't know the half of it....why am I trusting her with this information though?"

Eliza watched him and her mind raced. Why exactly was she trusting some random person she just met who she knows almost nothing about? Her eyes stayed glued to him for a moment and then she looked down. She bit her lips as her mind continued to race.

James could feel the pain flash through the large scar on his back, one of the reasons why he'd given up training horses long ago and gaven the job to Drake. The memory filled him. He shook his head. "Is their anything else you need help with, or need to know?" He gestured around them at the house.

Eliza shook her head. "No. thank you for showing me around James," she said softly. her mind started to go to memories again and it made her cringe mentally. She kept her eyes glued to the ground and pushed the memories back.
