Daughter of Darkness

Tucker looked at her and sighed, nodding. "I'll come keep watch." He stood and followed her back to whatever room she was sleeping in, tucking her in under the covers, then sat on the floor infront of the bed, his eyes on the door.

Jenny woke with tears again, clinging to whatever memories she could of Jake. She could feel them slipping out of her grasp and it scared her. She slipped out of the bed quietly and out of the door, running back the way she had come, looking for Jake.

Mirissa...... .....whispers Jack then a few moments later whispers Tucker......

Jake walked in the direction of the house meeting her half way. His eyes went wide when he saw he and he ran forward and pulling her into his arms and spinning around.

Jenny clung to him, tears pouring down her cheeks. "Jake!" She cried happily. She kissed him wherever she could. "I thought you would never come."

Tucker at the mention of his name-

Jake grinned and kissed her back as he sat her back on the ground. "I said I would didn't I?" He put a finger below her chin and wiped the tears from her cheeks with his thumb.

Mirissa - mumbles his name again and curls up on her side.....

Tucker- He gets up quietly and goes to check on Jenny, freezing as he realizes she's not there. He debates on what to do, then goes into the room and gently shakes Mirissa. "Hey, Jenny's gone."

Jenny gave a small nod as she kissed him. "I love you," she murmered, her voice still colored in tears. "Don't make me leave you again, please."

Mirissa jolted away, the slight touch scaring her as she jumped backwards on the bed. Realizing it was Tucker she relaxed slightly, then his words registered. "She's......gone?"

Jake kissed her back, hesitating for a moment before saying quietly, "I love you too. I won't as long as you're safe." He then took her hand and began towards the house again.

Jenny smiled, moving so she could wrap her arm around him, her hand slipping into his back pocket. She didn't want to leave his side ever.

Tucker looked at her and nodded. "She's not anywhere in the house."

Artemis swallowed hard, looking away as she tried to calm her shaking limbs.
She couldn't bring herself to answer, she she blinked, staring at the wall

Jake smiled and led her to the house, opening the front door and walking in without hesitation.

Mirissa pulled herself from the bed, her head spinning slightly as she started towards the door. Her body was still exhausted and wanted more sleep. "We have to find her."

Tucker watched her carefully, his hand sitting in the small of her back to keep her steady. He froze when they started towards the front door, his eyes landing on Jake.

Jenny-

Damian stared at her and looked away. He sighed, running a hand throug his hair. "My name is Damian, by the way. I don't know if I ever told you that or not."

She turned and watched him for a moment, biting her lip "Artemis" she croaked "my name is artemis" she turned her attention back to the plant, frowning as she saw no visible improvement "I, I should bring this back... it needs sun" she flinched at the word, standing up and stretching her weak limbs

Jake's eyes landed on Mirissa and he froze, unsure of what exactly to do . She stared back, holding onto Tucker for a moment before walking forward, her eyes on Jake as she spoke to Jenny. With them so close together at the moment the fact they were twins was obvious. "Are you alright? Why did you leave?"

Tucker stayed close to Mirissa, his eyes flashing between Jake and Jenny.

"I was going to find Jake." Jenny said as she burried herself in his side. "I felt memories slipping and it scared me."

Damian stood as he watched her, following her at a safe distance to keep her from getting to worked up.

Artemis walked through the door silently, her full attention on the plant, the voices of people around her barely phasing her.

Damian's eyes landed on Jake and they got huge, quickly moving infront of Artemis, putting his arms out slightly to keep her protected.

Mirissa nodded slowly, looking at Jake for a moment longer before dropping her gaze. We'll talk later. she sent him through the old link.
"Alright, just please don't run off again, Tucker was worried about you." She saw Artemis start in and glanced between her and Jake who hadn't noticed. "Uh, Hi Artemis...."

Artemis frowned, coming out of her trance to see what all the commotion was about.
She froze, seeing the new figure. fear followed by pure anger filled her and jake was soon bouncing off of every surface possible, sickening sounds filled the air by artemis didn't stop. he killed kale. he would die

Mirissa....- .........unsure if she should say anything.....

Jake guessed he deserved that........ ouch........

"YOU KILLED HIM!" Artemis screamed, throwing him around even harder, tears pouring down her face. he would die now, she would make sure of it

Jenny screamed, chasing after him. "STOP! YOU'RE HURTING HIM! STOP PLEASE!"

Tucker raised his brow as he watched.

Damian-

Artemis didn't stop, couldn't stop. Just like the trance she went into with the stories or her plant, she was now in a trance with jake. She had a goal, she would achieve it. She would avenge her other half. he would die.
Sickening cracks and snaps filled the air as she tossed him faster and harder about.

Mirissa....maybe she should stop this........"ARTEMIS!" She gathered the shadows and sent them to tackle Artemis. "LOOK AT JENNY!"

Jake.....

Nah, its fine......just don't kill 'em

Aremis screeched and struggled, trying to free herself so she could end his miserable existence. jenny? who was that? all she cared about was jake. he would die

Jenny ran to where Jake landed, clinging to him as she cried. "No, no no no no." She repeated over and over and over. "Don't be dead, please," she begged.

Pain flitted across Tucker's face as he watched his sister.

Damian- pouting because she stopped.
