Artemis's eyes grew heavy and she soon found herself looking up at the tree tops, her eyes drifting close

Gah I'm trying to CC guys but my brain is like dead from lack of sleep.....*headdesks*
Re: Daughter of Darkness
As soon as she was asleep, Damian closed the book gently and set it down next to her, looking through the trees. He stood and circled around them for good measure. When he came back to square one though, one of the gaurds came up behind him, a blade going into his side. He cried out and threw the guy, taking the blade from his side and slamming it into the other guy's chest.

Re: Daughter of Darkness
Get some sleep Bells
Damian stumbled back, the gaurd dead on the ground. He put a hand to his side and pulled it away, growling as he saw that it was covered in blood. He glanced around for the second one, not sure he should relax just yet.

Mirissa finished and pulled back, more annoyed than anything else. "I liked that sandwich!" She told him pushing the bucket away.

Re: Daughter of Darkness
Tucker looked at her and couldn't help chuckling as he took the bucket and went to empty it out, shaking his head. "We'll try again later," he called back to her.
As was to be expected, the second came running at him from the woods, but he was at least able to dodge this one, only getting knicked a few times as he took the guy to the ground, and killed him. He looked at Artemis, his vision starting to blurr, his breathing turning a little shallow from the blood loss. He then collapsed, a small help rising to the top of his mind before the darkness consumed him.

Re: Daughter of Darkness
Mirissa watched him, the annoyed look not leaving her face. "You shouldn't he doing that, its my chewed up food. I believe it is my responsibility to finish it wither it is in my stomach or on the ground."
Re: Daughter of Darkness
Damian was passed out, blood flowing freely from his side. He was still breathing though, and still had a heart beat.
Tucker came back, the bucket emptied and cleaned. "You'll just have to live with it," he said as he grabbed her a glass of water. "Rinse your mouth out."

Re: Daughter of Darkness
Grumbling to herself she did as she was told, still looking annoyed. "How much longer?" She asked him suddenly when she was done. "How much longer is that baby staying in there?"
Re: Daughter of Darkness
Tucker looked at her and raised a brow. "Nine months is how long it should be. I don't know how far you are along though." He shrugged, trying to keep from chuckling at her.

Re: Daughter of Darkness
Mirissa sighed glaring at nothing. "That's an aweful ling time, what is it doing in there? Training to be a kickboxer?" She stood slowly , the annoyed look never leaving.
Re: Daughter of Darkness
"No, it's growing," Tucker said, finally chuckling as he shook his head. "You just let it be. It'll come when it's ready."

Re: Daughter of Darkness
"I want it to be ready now." She grumbled, her hand on the small bump as she started inside the house. "How come you're so smart?" She asked, trying to get her mind off of the baby and her irritation.
Re: Daughter of Darkness
Tucker shrugged and followed her. "I'm not smart, I've just lived outside the prison most my life and experianced these sorta things."

Mirissa shook her head with a grin, "Smart, good looking, kind, a fighter, what aren't you?" She chuckled as she made her way to the couch and sat down
Re: Daughter of Darkness
Tucker didn't answer that question. He just forced a smile and watched her sit down. He wasn't a good person. That's what he wasn't. He didn't like all the compliments, they just made him feel worse about himself. He didn't say anything about it though, not wanting to start a fight with a pregnant woman.

Re: Daughter of Darkness
Mirissa watched him for a moment, a frown tugging onto her lips. "What is it?" She asked finally. "Why won't you agree? I said the same thing earlier and you just walked off. Why?"
Re: Daughter of Darkness
Tucker ran a hand through his hair and rubbed the back of his neck. "Because, I don't feel like I'm all those things," he muttered. "I'm not a good person, I'm not a fighter I'm actually a coward, even ask Jenny. I'm not usually kind," he shrugged.

Mirissa frowned further, standing and walking over to him. "You are to me." She said slowly, grabbing his hand with a tight grip and putting it on her stomach. "You are to it." The baby put a tiny hand against his.
Re: Daughter of Darkness
Tucker watched, his face torn. He moved his hand and stuffed it into his pocket and shook his head. "No, Mirissa. I'm a murmer and a theif." His voice was quiet as he watched her, his eyes searching hers. "I'm not usually like this."
