Re: Daughter of Darkness
Mirissa continued to glare at him, crossing her arms and refusing to say a word. How dare he! Toss her over his shoulders like a sack of potatoes! Grumbling to herself she just stared at him.
Re: Daughter of Darkness
Damian was a little shocked when she seemed to look for his comfort, but gave a small smile. He wrapped both arms around her, holding her close and glancing around the room. "It's gonna be ok...I promise."
Seph growled, trembling with rage as he walked the halls. "DANI! CORAL!"
Tucker just watched her for a long moment, then sighed. "You hungry?"

Artemis shirked away from his words, not wanting anymore empty promises, just wanting it to end. Tonight, she decided, tonight she would end it

Re: Daughter of Darkness
Mirissa glared at him stubbornly for a moment longer before the promise of food reached her stomach and it growled. Annoyed still she relented and nodded at him. "Starving." The words let her lips to be followed by another growl from her stomach and a tiny kick from the baby.
Re: Daughter of Darkness
Dani glanced at the door from the floor of her garden. Without many prisoners to torture she'd been spending more and more time with her flowers, practicing her freaky ability to be truthful. It kinda scared her to think there was something about herself she couldn't control. Thinking for a moment she decided she didn't want to see him in that mood, she was pretty sure he didn't know where the garden was anyways. At least, she thought he didn't...
Re: Daughter of Darkness
Tucker chuckled and nodded, then ushered her inside and to the kitchen. He went to the ice box, getting out the nessecary items to make her a sandwhich. Once it was made, he handed it to her triumphantly as if he had just accomplished a great feat.
Damian held her, rubbing her arm gently. He had a feeling he might need to keep a good eye on her, though that would prove to be slightly difficult seeing as how she was a telepath and could shoot him across the room.

Damian sighed and grabbed a blanket, wrapping it around her. He then sat across from her, his back against the bed as he watched her, making sure she didn't do anything to stupid.

Re: Daughter of Darkness
Taking it with a slight smile she took a bite. Almost immediately she scarffed the rest down, not having realized just exactly how hungry she was. When done she sat there with her hands on her stomach, a determined expression on her face as she fought to keep it down.

(working on it)
Seph growled. "Where's Jake? And where's your sister?"
The gaurds that had been sent to the house got lost and were headed towards the cabin, not knowing where they were going.
Tucker watched her, grabbing a pale and setting it beside her, just incase.

Dani - gardening....
Mirissa glared at the bucket as she clutched her stomach, annoyed that she could tell that the sandwich was not going to stay down. Nope there it went. She was promptly over the bucket.

Re: Daughter of Darkness
"Go find her, I want to talk to her." Seph growled.
Tucker sighed, moving behind her and holding her hair.
Damian had moved back to the porch, his eyes scanning the trees when he heard the footsteps coming closer, then saw the uniforms of the gaurds. He bolted up and ran inside, pulling Artemis to her feet. "We have to go," he said quietly.

Damian picked her up and ran with her. They needed to get as far as possible. The gaurds groaned, sitting up and running after them.

Damian growled each time they hit him, but he didn't swat at them. He just kept running, trying to loose the gaurds.

artemis randomly tossed the guards away from her, the only way they were getting to her was if one of them was a freak themself

Re: Daughter of Darkness
Damian finally felt as though he lost them and stopped in a small glade, setting Artemis down by a tree as he tried to catch his breath. He felt exauhsted, but he couldn't sleep now. Not with the gaurds out there. He glanced at her and gave a small smile. "You ok?"

Artemis stirred, meeting his gaze. She remained still for a moment before blinking, the book flying and bopping him on the head again

Re: Daughter of Darkness
Damian growled and grabbed the book and stared at her. "That wasn't very nice. If you wanted me to read it, you just should have said something." He muttered as he flipped it open, then began to read.

Re: Daughter of Darkness
Artemis didn't respond, just listened to him read, mentally entering a guards mind whenever one nears and planting a thought that they were elsewhere. though it never lasted for long. if she fell asleep..

Re: Daughter of Darkness
Damian continued to read, watching her and the woods carefully. He didn't like feeling so on edge. It made everything all the more stressful than it should be.
