Anastasia - I felt average in this room, like I wasn't needed as they discussed things. I studied the guy's tense reaction as they got closer and closer to finding something important out. "You're hiding something," I whispered to him.

Derek - "So what if I am," he said in a charming tone, one I didn't fall for..

Laila- "Do we know anything about this person? Does he have a history of drugs, violence?"

Hayden: "If you mean the victim," I emphasized the word, because I hated when people didn't use the right terms. "We don't know much about him. But if he had that kind of history, and it was essential to his murder, they probably would have figured it out by now."

Laila- I nod, then go over to the victim. "Take your index,and middle finger and jab the fingers into the larnyx. Using enough force, this will cause the victim to suffocate." I mumble under my breathe. I look for any sign of suffocation.

Anastasia - I looked at the victim. I wondered if he had a family, kids, a loving wife. I wondered if he was on his way to see them when he was killed. I wondered what he did to deserve it. I whispered to Derek, "Nobody deserves that, you know, nobody," I told him hoping that he would feel guilty, I had a feeling he had something to do with this murder.

Derek - "You don't really believe that," I told her back. She was going to be a challenge, they all were. I would have to deal with them, but I might just take a captive or two, to have some fun with. I smile harshly.

Laila- "And what do you believe," I say turning to him.

Derek - "I believe that certain people deserve to die, certain people need to be taught lessons in life," I say.

Anastasia - I gasp at him, that was horrible.

Hayden: I spun on my heel to face the boy, prepared to say something more-than-rude to him. But I held my tongue. This just may be the perfect opportunity to pry. "Interesting, care to explain?"

Laila- This ought to be interesting. I do agree to a certain extent. Serial murders ,for instance, maybe shouldnt live after all the lives they had taken. Yet I wasnt to sure if that's what this guy was taking about.

Derek - I gave her a harsh grin, "We don't know this person's life. We don't know if he was a drug dealer or a murderer himself. Maybe he deserved to die. Maybe it was best for everyone for him to just disappear."

Anastasia - "I don't care if he killed people, if in fact he did, NOBODY deserves to die alone," I yelled at him thinking of my mom. Thinking of the man who got away with my mother's murder, with her rape.

Hayden: "Or maybe he wasn't, and maybe it wasn't. Maybe he had a family, kids, a great life. Maybe he didn't have any hidden motives or secrets. Is it fair to say that it's just as likely he led a bad life as a good one?" I cocked my head to the side, always the peacemaker in situations like this. Especially at school.

Anastasia - "What if he had a daughter or a son?" I said sadly, "What if they are crying right now as we speak. What if the daughter is sitting locked up in her room contemplating suicide? What if there is a ten paged note in her hand explaining all the reasons why? What if she has a knife and a gun under her pillow and a rope hanging from the ceiling. What if she will never have a normal life now, all because one person took another persons life." I ranted, now speaking from experience.

Hayden: "There are two sides to every story," I nodded at the two of them, then resumed my examination and analyzation of the room. There was always some piece of evidence, small as it may be, that you overlooked. No matter how many times you looked over a case, you were always at risk of missing something.

Derek - "Well, I can guess YOUR story," I gave the girl a once over.

Anastasia - "And I can tell that you're were a part of this," I snarled.

Derek - "Can you now? You have no evidence of that, so shut your pretty little mouth," I growled

Hayden:"It looks as though you have an admirer," I told the girl, having to consciously keep from rolling my eyes. This was no setting for flirting. I then addressed both of them. "This isn't about our stories, this is about the victim's."

Anastasia - I nodded. She was completely right. I walked around the room trying to find something, anything, that could help.

Hayden: That guy ((Derek)) was just standing there, watching all of us. "Shouldn't you be working, too?" I said somewhat coldly.

Derek - "I guess," I said. I walked around the room, avoiding any spot that could have possible evidence.

Hayden: I noticed the odd pattern in which the guy walked, and I asked skeptically "What are you avoiding?"

Derek - "Who said I was avoiding anything?" I asked.

Hayden: "No one, it was implied. You've been weaving around, in a consistent way. You're avoiding certain spots again and again. And you're examining other spots, but coming up with nothing. So what is it that you're avoiding in those certain spots? There is a reason behind every action."

Derek - "I'm going to the spots I think there could be something," I lie.

Hayden: "Hm, really? Because one would think you'd realized there was nothing there after returning to those same areas at least four times." There was an undertone of accusation in my voice. But for what?

Derek - "I'm not perfect, I could always have missed something," I say.
