Katherine: "Yeah, my fault." I paused before saying, "I should've said that since I'm not entirely human." I might as well tell someone, like it mattered now anyway, when everyone person you come in contact with might die within a day.

Mikey: "It's okay. I'd prefer to be human than what I am."

Katherine: I wanted to ask him what exactly he was, but thought differently. I wouldn't want to make an issue out of it. "Have to agree with you there." I spoke softly, unable to even put a half-smile on my face.

Mikey: "Isn't it mostly like that for every one of us?"

Katherine: I shrugged, "I've heard about some people just having psychic abilities, but they're still human. But...I'd think it would be right to assume most of us aren't entirely human, and some aren't even human at all."

Mikey: "Yeah, I'm half human."

Katherine: "Same here." I already knew what his other half was, because of the energy that radiated from him when I first met him.

Mikey: "What is your other half?"

Katherine: I pursed my lips, thinking about how to phrase it. "God." I started, "My father's Hades." I explained, realizing how funny it would sound if I just said 'God'.

Mikey: "That's insane."

Katherine: I arched an eyebrow, "And how is it, exactly?"

Mikey: "Nevermind."

Katherine: I sighed, and despite what everything in my body told me, I resisted the urge to press the issue.

Mikey: I crossed my arms, and I stared at the layers of trees.

(I saw that. Pretty nice. Right now, I'mma gonna go in there and say 'Hi' basically. Already changed my pic.)

Katherine: I shuffled my feet, and sat down on the ground, my legs stretched out in front of me and crossed. I scanned the perimeter from my new found vantage point.

(Heehee)

Mikey: "Damn it. Why don't we try to find a way to escape?"

Katherine: I looked around once again before standing up, and brushing my pants off. "All right. Where do you want to start?"

Mikey: "Maybe try the ends of the forest?"

(Woah...looks like I totally got ignored, lol. I'm gonna have to fix that.)

Katherine: "Okay. I'll go this way." I said as I pointed to the left, and began walking.

Mikey: "I'll look at the other side."

(Yeah.)

Katherine: "All right." I called, not looking back at him. As I walked to the opposite end of the forest, I looked around periodically for anything suspcious.

Mikey: I continued to my side of the forest. I kept my guard up just in case, but I wasn't too worried.

Katherine: Something caught my eye, and I walked hiestantly over to it. I grimaced at what I saw. A dead body. A person...or what was a person. I shuddered, and immediately averted my gaze. That's what these place does to all of us. I couldn't keep looking away, and found myself once again looking down at rotted flesh, and bone. Ironic how my father has to guide souls and such, and here I am being quesy around a body. That once was a person. A living, breathing person. I stiffled a scream, and let out a choked sound instead, stepping backward as I did. I did my search as fast, but as detailed as I could before heading back, a little shaken.
