Dwyre: i smiled "The cold is but Mother Nature holing her sweet breath til spring"

Kyri: I shrugged. "Perhaps...... it'd be nice if she didn't, though. Or at least, you know, let enough warmth through to keep people from freezing....." i said, petting the dragon absently, figuring it would've already eaten me if it was going to. I couldnt count the number of nights i'd spent freezing, curled up in a corner of my 'master's basement, or stuck outside in miserable conditions, the chill slowly seeping into my bones. Being cold was one of my least favourite things ever.

Dwyre: Tonka puured, rubbing her nose against the girls cheek and tilted her head to be scratched behind the horns. i chuckled, wathcing htem

Kyri: I happily oblidged, scratching behind the dragon's horns, amused by its happiness. It really was like a big scaly cat...... not nearly as scary as i'd thought. I raised an eyebrow as Dwyre chuckled. "What's so funny....?"

Dwyre: "My baby girl usually doesn't take so quickly to strangers" I said with a smiled, stroking the tuft of neon green fur along her spine

Kyri: "Hmmm..... well, hopefully if she likes me, she won;t have any second thoughts about eating me....." i said. I really would prefer to remain un-eaten...... "And i still don't see why that's funny."

Dwyre: I smiled "She's several thousand years old"

Kyri: I blinked in surprise. "Really? I wouldnt have guessed that..... but, uhm...... what does that have to do with anything....?" i asked. Was she really that old...? I'd have thought she'd be bigger if she was that old...

Dwyre: "That this is one of the first times that she's embraced soemone so quickly is both amusing and surprising. Why, when I hatched her she mauled me up quite badly"

Kyri: "Really? Suddenly i like this dragon a lot more..... WAIT. Doesnt that also mean that YOU'RE at least several thousand years old...?" i asked.

Dwyre: I smiled

Kyri: I sighed, glaring. "You never just... answer the question, do you?" i said, a little irritated. "But im guessing that's a yes. I won't lie, that's a little... freaky."

Dwyre: I smiled 'Why? My race is as old as mother earth herself, I have seen the coming of your race and I know when it shall vanish. I am but another part of the magic of this wonderful world"

Kyri: "Perhaps, but its wierd to think that you're so old. I would think that living for so long would get horrifically trivial and lonely." i admitted.

Dwyre: "It does get lonely at times, but I find amusement for myself" I said with a smile "You, for instance"

Kyri: "Ah. I think i see now why you're so reluctant to leave me alone... although i don't know what you find so amusing about me." i said. I didnt really think i was all that funny.....

Dwyre: "Ah, you are quite entertaining" I said with a chuckle "I lways find bull-headedness sis a good laugh"

Kyri: "Gee, thanks. Glad im so amusing...." i growled, glaring. Although, really, i should have expected an answer like that....... "So. How long d'you plan on hanging around anyways?" i asked.

Dwyre: "However long it takes for me to either get bored or until I find who I'm looking for"

Kyri: "I see.... and who exactly is it that you're looking for? You still havent said. I might be able to help, you know." i pointed out.

Dwyre; I paused "That, I cannot tell you" I said after a moment

Kyri: I let out a long sigh. "Fine. Don't tell me. But i bet i could help if you'd let me......" i said. I wished he weren't so secretive...... it was hard to even think about trusting him when he was so reluctant to even answer a simple question.

Dwyre: "It is not that I don't trust you, it is just that this mission is so imporant if the wrong ears were to hear it it could mean the death of the royal line"

Kyri: "I see...... its deeply undercover stuff, then. You really have a lot of wierd secrets..... just sayin'." i said. Now i actually wanted to know even more..... But i wouldnt push.

Bryce saw her shiver, "Are you still cold?" He didn't know it would be that cold when he pushed her in. He was stasrting to feel really bad now. "I can build a fire quickly if you want?"
