For centuries other beings have walked about us. They've only been the creatures of our imagination, but of course were there's a myth, there's a fact. Three years in the future they reveal themselves to us and the vampires take over after a year of war against us and the werewolves. They've started taking werewolves, humans, and other creatures as slaves for blood, or whatever other things they have in mind. What happens when the prince of vampires buys a slave and falls for her??? Will he be able to change his fathers mind about allowing them their freedom, or will he be forced to join the Resistance just to save his newly found love???

Azriel paced outside the auction area, the smells of the city stining his sensitive nose. His father had forced him to come down here and buy a slave. He looked at the door one last time as his guard gestured for him to enter and his nose wrinkled. He didn't want one, it'd be to much trouble feeding and taking care of it, but he had to do as his father wished. He sighed and opened the door and went to the back row, his blue eyes looking about him in distaste as they led a group of girls onto the stage to sell.

Adair was wrestling with a moan who was holding her arm, all the while muttering a spell under her breath. After a moment she realized that her magic was of no use to her because the shackles that were on her binds powers. "Damn," she muttered. It looked to her as though her escaping the auction house would all rely on physically fighting which, as luck would have it, was one of her weaknesses. The brute that was dragging her along finally stopped, holding onto her arm far too tight. "You're cutting off the circulation in my arm," she said dryly. He glared just glared at her and she sighed, thinking about how she was going to get out of the situation she had gotten herself into.

Azriel drummed his fingers against the chair's armrest, looking very annoyed which kept others from sitting near him. A delictable smell made its way to his nose and he gave another sniff before sitting up straighter and looking for the source. A witch being held by one of the gaurds caught his attention and he tilted his head. He liked the spark of fight in her eyes. All the other's eyes were dim and looked defeated, but she kept fighting. When it came her turn he lifted his head, and already knowing they were beat, none other tried betting for her. The auction ended, and with a relived sigh and exited the building to the other room where they'd bring her to him.

Can I join?

Adair kept moving and squirming, trying to get out of the guard's grasp, but he was strong and, well, she was not. It took her a moment, but eventually she realized she had been bought and a string of colorful curse words escaped her lips. Harder and harder she fought while they took her to a different room and she almost got free, but the guard caught her arm only too quickly and held on to her tighter than before. "Do you even know how to treat a lady?" she spat.

Azriel gave a low dark chuckle, hearing this. "Yes. Do release her. That's no way to treat a lady." He stepped away from the wall he'd been leaning on and looked at her curiosly, her wonderful scent filling his nostrils. He took a deep breath to control himself, then gestured to the door. "Will I be able to get you to follow me willingly, or do I have to put you over my shoulder?" He raised a eyebrow, his eyes serious.

Adair glared toward the guard, content that he had released her, but angry that she was a now considered a slave at the same time. She turned her gaze toward the person who had spoke so she could address him. "Neither. I would prefer not to follow you and there is no way I want a bloodsucker touching me," she stated dryly.

Azriel rolled his blue eyes slowly, sighing and gave her a slow grin as he stared at her again. "Get use to it." Azriel tried to speak as less as possible. His voice was dark, but seductive, but he knew the effect it had on people, and tended to not like talking all that much anyway. He had her over his shoulder and in the car in seconds though, tossing her in the back and shutting the door. The doors had childlock, so he was confident she wouldn't escape as he went to his side and got in, and started the car.

Adair glared at him, not thrilled with the bloodsucker that had 'bought' her. She found it utterly asinine that people were property instead what they were, living, breathing beings. Before she knew what was happening she was in the backseat of a car. She sat up, blinking a few times. That bloodsucker had it coming to him. "No, I will never get used to it, bloodsucker."

Azriel snorted and shook his head as he took off at a dangerously fast speed out of the parking lot, but he did it smoothly, his sharp reflexes keeping the car under control. "Might as well give it a try sweets." His voice had a slight accent, Greek, to it, but it was very faint.

(mmm...might as well make Azriel Greek, me part Greek, mom's side. =))

Rusty watched with slitted tired eyes as his friend left with his new slave. He was quite surprised that he'd bought one, and now he was waiting for the next group, and yawned slightly as they did so.

Adair glared, starting to think about escaping. She might not be able to escape immediately, but she would try and if it came to it, she would die trying. She rolled her eyes after a moment. "Just keep thinking that, Bloodsucker."

Aria walked behind the group of slaves hoping that she wouldn't get picked. She did not want to be owned by a vampire she would much rather stay here to die. They stepped onto the platform in front of a vampire silver hair. Ugh she hated vampires ever since one of them killed her parents.

Azriel gave a dry laugh before pulling up to the castle. He glared at it slightly and slowed, reluctant to be here, but he shook his head and heaved a large sigh. "Look. I don't want you anymore then you want to be here. Blame my father." He opened his door and slammed it shut behind him before opening hers for her. He gave a deep sigh, his blazing blue eyes calming a little.

Rusty looked up as a delicious smell made it to his nose. He watched a pretty werewolf girl by the smell of her, and after a few minutes was able to out bid the others. He stood and made his way to the room where they'd bring the girl to him.
