To Love Is Nothing

Jake - "Safer," I nod.

Anastasia - I wrap my arms around his neck, "You're more than I could ever ask for."

Liz: I sat on the floor with a sigh and looked up at Jake "Do you think we'll always be on the run?"

Corrigan: I chuckled and kissed her.

Jake - " I sure as hell hope not," I sigh. "I don't think we will, we can beat him."

Anastasia - I leaned my head on his chest after the kiss. When I pulled away I picked up Rascal and held him up to Corrigan.

Liz: "How? We're out of defenses, now that he knows about your fire powers."

Corrigan: "What? Does he need to go for a walk or something?" I arched an eyebrow at the puppy she held up to me.

Jake - "Just cause he knows doesn't mean I can't use it," I say.

Anastasia - "No, he needs a hug." I say.

Liz: "But he'll be prepared for it," I sighed and laid back on the ground, closing my eyes. Today had been exhausting.

Corrigan: "A hug?" I grumbled, but took the puppy and cuddled it it my arms.

Jake - "I have friends that will help Liz, believe it or not," I shrug.

Anastasia - "Good," I smile, "now he is less scared."

Liz: "Friends? That's nice, my friends think I'm dead," I said, my eyes still closed.

Corrigan: "I think you're the one who really wanted the hug," I smirked and wrapped my free arm around her. "There's nothing to be afraid of - it'll be okay."

Jake - I go up to her and hold her tight to my chest, "I'm sorry baby."

Anastasia - "I hope so," I sigh. "I definitely hope so!"

Liz: Aw, he called me baby! I smiled and let myself feel protected by his arms wrapped around me. "It's okay - you're all I need."

Corrigan: "It will be. Maybe we got lucky and they burned with the apartments."

Jake - "I'm glad," I tell her my lips against her head.

Anastasia - "That would be too easy," I roll my eyes.

Liz: I looked up, so that Jake's lips were pressed against mine, instead of against my head.

Corrigan: "This isn't a movie," I snorted "It could have been that easy!"

Jake - I kissed her sweetly. She was the most amazing thing that had ever happened to me.

Anastasia - I sit on the bed, "Alright then, but do you really believe that?"

Liz: "Don't let go of me, okay?" I said, somewhat clinging to Jake. My head was buried in his chest, and I felt tears threatening to bubble over.

Corrigan: "No, I don't," I sighed and sat down next to Anastasia with Rascal in my lap.

Jake - "I wont," I promise, "ever."

Anastasia - "You two look cute," I say, "I wish I could take a picture."

Liz: "We're not going to be able to get married, are we?" I said softly, as I trailed my finger on his chest.

Jake - "They have churches to get married over here," I say.

Liz: "Dirty demon churches," I mumbled with a sigh.

Corrigan: "You're thinking of pictures at a time like this?" I rolled my eyes.

Anastasia - "It'd be a good way to record what was happening," i laugh.

Jake - "No, nice human churches in a town five miles from here." I kiss her with a short laugh.

Corrigan: "I guess. Maybe we should get you a camera, since you'll need something to occupy you while we're here."

Liz: "Oh," I smiled, but then frowned. "I don't think that's a good idea though, since we're supposed to be in hiding."

Anastasia - "YAY!" I clap happily.

Jake - "The humans are ignorant," I say but nod. "If that is what you want."

Liz: "The vampires and witches aren't," I pointed out.

Jake - "True, see you're the smart one," I tell her.

Liz: "No, you're smart, too" I smiled softly. "And cute."

Jake - "and you're beautiful." I say.
