Angels and Demons

Jordan: I flew down, landing next to Derek. "I think we should leave, Derek." I said.

Derek - "Fine," I agree, "see you late doll." I call to Anastasia

Anastasia - I shiver.

Jordan: We flew away from angel territory. My lip hurt from where the mad doc decked me. I'll get him for it later.

Mercutio: I breath out a sigh of relief and go back to the opperating room, lighting up a cigarette to keep from thinking about how I let two potential test subjects go.

Niccoleta: "Fuckin-a," I say when I spot Jordan and Derek. "Did your lip get mauled by a mack truck or something?" I say. They have to tip toe around the angel's corpse in the middle of the room. I must say, what's-his-face did a good job getting me something to eat. I lip my fingers and lean back in my chair. I can actually feel my hands again.

Jordan: "I got decked by a mad scientist." I grumbled.

Rose: They were almost done sewing me up. "Can I go to sleep now?" I asked.

Niccoleta: I laugh. "Can't believe you let him get a hit on you! You're slacking!" I stand up and hold onto a table to keep from falling. "Well, now that about half of our troops have been wiped out, how about we go to Purgatory and scope out the newbies. I wanna know which fucker's gonna try and take my job."

Mercutio: I nod. "Go ahead, just try not to move around too much if you can."

Rose: I nestled into the pillow and slipped into the depths of sleep.

Jordan: I glared at Nic. "You should stay here. Not only did you bugger up that angel, she really got you too. You need to work on fixing yourself up. I won't let anyone take your job."

Niccoleta: "Me? I am perfectly fine!" I say, ignoring the buckling of my knees and half-done stitches that were starting to come undone. The knee that she broke caves in and I fall to the floor, cursing in a way that would've made me blush back when I was alive. I nod towards my servant and he bends down and picks me up. "Shut up," I say to the look on their faces. "Its only external shit anyway! Who needs to walk anyway? Or, y'know, pick stuff up. I'm perfectly fine!"

Jordan: "Nic..." I said, shaking my head. I walked over to her, scooped her up, and put her on the bed. "I'll add duct tape if you misbehave." I said, and winked.

Niccoleta: I stick out my tongue and turn on my side so that I'm not facing him. It hurts like a bitch but... "You better not have fun without me," I mutter.

Jordan: I laugh. "I'll try."

David: I hear Niccoleta sigh from my spot next to her bed. "You better," she says. I turn to the two demons, bring out a sheaf of papers from my jacket. "I believe those three are the main ones we were looking at. One of them climes out of jealousy, another out of lust, and a third out of wrath. Good luck with them."

Jordan: I took the papers from Nic's servant, and walked out with Derek.

a few hours later.....

Rose: My eyes fluttered open. Ugh, everything hurt so bad. Where was I? Oh yeah, the hospital room, that angel bitch kicked my ass. Grr... I'll get her back later. "Hello?" I whispered, unable to make my voice louder.

Mercutio: "Don't whine so much. You're making a bigger deal out of this than it really is," I murmur as I draw incision lines on the sibject's head. "Don't get me wrong, I love the sound of your screams. But really? If you're this scared now, the scalpel may prove a bit harder to handle." I take out my scalpel and gently press it on the line. "Now, where to begin?" I murmur. "Tell me, sir. Which do you prefer? Left or right?" Knocking sounds at the door and I curse. I take off my glasses and answer. "Yes?" I ask a nurse, wincing a little in the light. She nods towards one of the operating rooms. "Rose is awake, sir."

Rose: I saw a nurse run off somewhere. I wonder where she was going? I flopped back onto the pillow. I hated feeling weak.

Mercutio: I sigh and start taking off my gloves. Guess I'll have to save this one for tomorrow. I close the door behind me and lock it, checking in a near by window to make sure there wasn't any blood on me. "I see someone's finally woken up," I say as I open the door.

Rose: "Hi Mercutio." I said.

Mercutio: "Hey." I check the clipboard by the bed and flip through some papers. "Well, you're doing pretty well right now. Your vitals are looking good, and your casts can come off soon. You might have some difficulty moving for awhile."

Rose: I sighed. "Great."

Mercutio: "Its great when you think about about all the things that could've gone wrong. Like I said, dead or a vegetable."

Rose: I laughed weakly. "How could I have ended up a vegetable?"

Mercutio: "Y'know, serious brain damage. You could've been left a drooling, wide eyed, emotionless mess. And then we'd have to have a talk with the council about whether or not we should pull the plug."

Rose: "Oh." I said, laughing weakly.

Anastasia - I walked into the room where they said Rose was, "Hi," I say quietly.

Derek - "So, what does it say?" I ask about the papers.

Rose: "Hi." I said.

Jordan: "Pretty much exactly what Nic's guy said. Jealously, lust, and wrath. I don't know, wrath seems pretty tough. I like Wrath."
