In His Way, Mr. K Will Challenge The World...

Larry: I walked up to Aro who looked pretty pissed, but that was nothing new. It looked like there was an open slot for some reason. "Give it to that Sadie girl. You know, the one in the wheelchair? She deserves it."

Aro: "The hell? Does it look like I'm in the mood for fuckin charity?" I take the clipboard and scribble out several things before moving them around. "So now, in order of performances, I got the handicap, the rednecks, the kid and the slut, the lesbians, Frenchie, the freakshow crew, and the horse guy. If you don't know which you are then you better figure it out or else get your ass off my stage. Am I understood?"

Larry: I sighed and just shook my head. Was Aro even capable of being nice? Probably not.

Aro: "Good," I mutter. I shove another lollipop into my mouth and bite it to pieces with in minutes. "So what, did you want something, Larry? I got maybe three minutes to get dressed, you sure as hell aren't ready yet, and I'm taking over ringleader position tonight. I want your ass back here in one minute, not two, not three, ready to do this. And whatever you do, don't talk unless you know you won't stutter. Understood?" I walk off before I get a reply, cursing under my breath in Tagalog in a way that would've made my parents slap me.

Larry: "No, actually Aro. We're equals now. You don't fucking tell me what to do. And I'm not in an act, so don't try a throw me in one. I don't have a talent to use, and I'm not going out there to be a stage monkey."

Aro: I walk back over and sneer at him. "Well, you sure as hell act like you're apart of this Cirque, don't you? The way you don't even dress like s carnie, the least you could do, or else chee, I don't know, let your public see you. I know you're a part of this fucking circus, our performers know you're fucking part of this, but none of that means anything- ANYTHING- if the public doesn't even know your name. After thus morning's little mayhap and because of the events Mr.K took me to, as far as the public is concerned, there is only one leader of the Cirque, and that is me. You wanna show them that you're in charge too? You wanna grown some balls and fully commit to your position, not just to your fellow carnies, but to our people, then you will but on your goddamn clothes, get that stupid look off your face, and go out there, because you should be more than willing to do this for them! But I don't give a fuck really- I'm not the one who has to wonder if that public knows I exist!"

Larry: "I don't care if they know I exist, I'm here to spread Mr. K's message, not become a celebrity. I'm not stupid enough to do an act when I don't even know what it is, so if you'd tell me that then I'd consider participating."

Aro: I put my hands on my hips and get off my toes, I habit I'd have of doing eversince I quit dancing. "You're gonna be the Vanna White to my Wheel of Fortune. Just smile and look pretty, and you can be as stiff as a piece of catboats all night."

Larry: "Not doing it. I'd rather be an unknown." I said simply.

Aro: I roll my eyes. This was gonna be a fucking great partnership. I head off to the dressing room, get changed and take the rollers out of my hair and look at myself in the mirror. After a moment, I straighten the bow around my neck, take a deep breath, and head out.

Larry: Aro was probably thinking I was hard to work with. Good. I wasn't going to be the laughingstock of the Cirque - playing Vanna White! Hell no. And she wasn't easy to work with, either. I headed off to my small room, the one Mr. K had given me when he had taken a liking to me after taking me in.

This would be a good time for Ende to slip in somewhere...*hint hint*

Soon I was in a dress with vibrant, yet dark colors. Deep blues, forest greens, violets and crimsons. On my arms were silver bands of different designs, and my shoes were a simple but elegant black. I would be hyperventilating if it weren't for the guitar on my lap

Larry: I went to make sure that all the acts were ready and saw Sadie. I walked over with a grin "Nervous?"

lol mojo? I think I saw that once...because I read through a bit of Hell, since I heard people complaining. It's actually a well-written C.C., though.

Yah, people don't like us....but are plots are complicated, our characters well developed, and we're really close. So those people can deal.

"A little" I admit "I don't think they'll like my songs...but I rather be publicly executed then play music that wasn't me. Sorry- mushy again"

Aro: I push back the curtains and step out into the stage to the cheers of hundreds of thousands of people. "Oh, what?" I yell. "Did you think we were dead? Have you forgotten the one and only rule here in the Cirque?" "The show must go on!" yells the crowd. "What? I said I wanna hear you scream it, babe!" "The show must go on!" "The show must and will go on!" I yell back. "Welcome, for those of you that have been sitting under a rock for the past twleve years, the mystical and amazing Cirque!

Larry: "Yeah, we need to work on being less mushy,' I chuckled shortly and patted her head once. "Don't be nervous, you'll do fine. But I need to be off, I have to check on the others. Good luck, just in case."

"Thanks Larry, I'll need it" I smile, doing a few warm ups on my guitar

Moving into the crowd, it almost disturbed me with how comfortable I was here. The lights, the people, the blinding colors...sighing, I pull my hoodie over my head and continue.
