Jess couldn't help but laugh at her husband and could feel him softly chuckle under her.

Nate smiled. "I like those, babe. How about Ayden Tanner for a boy and Elena Kinsleigh for a girl?"

Gavin couldn't help but smile wide. "I love you, Jess." He had to say.

Emily smiled a bit more. "Those are perfect." She glanced back at him, feeling better now and turning to face him.

Jess grinned as she replied easily. "I love you too, Gavin."

Nate smiled and looked into her eyes as she turned.

Gavin held her close, moving his head to kiss the top of hers.

Emily wrapped her arms around his neck, embracing him. It was hard to describe how she felt. Minus the slight worry, happy. Happy she let him back into her life, happy they were having this child.

Jess smiled and closed her eyes and she rose and fell with the movement of Gavin's chest, eventually falling asleep.

Nate held her close, happy to have her close to him again and be past all of the secrets that had been holding them back for so long. He was excited to meet their child.

Gavin glanced down after a moment, smiling when he noticed she was asleep. He rested his head against hers and fell asleep as well.

Emily soon felt a small kick again, and gave a smile. How close she was to Nate, she knew he felt it too.

(they can continue to sleep for a little while)

Nate felt the kick and a tear of joy ran down his face. "Someone wants some attention too."

(thought so too.)

Emily felt herself get a bit emotional too, feeling a tear skirt down her cheek and she pulled back to look at him with a smile. "Oh, someone's going to get plenty of attention soon enough." She said, her smile widening a little. Knowing Nate and even herself, they would spend every single second they could with their kid.

Nate smiled down at her in agreement and gently wiped her tear away with the pad of his thumb.

Emily smiled a bit more. It was moments like this where she remembered all the reasons she loved him.

Emily woke during the night with a sharp pain on her abdomen. She sit up and quickly hissing in a breath as she felt it again. "Nate, wake up."

Nate woke easily, having been sleeping lightly the past few months, on edge about the baby. He was a little groggy and looked at Emily. "Are you alright, Em?" he asked, waking up fully now.

"No." Emily ended up talking a bit louder as she continued, another sharp pain coming on as she spoke, "The baby...is coming!"

Nate stared blankly for a moment before snapping into action. He quickly changed and helped Emily up and grabbed their things before they were out the door and on the way to the hospital.
On the way, he called Gavin, Jess, his parents, and Emily's parents.

Gavin received the call, first groggy but quickly getting up and getting dressed as he woke up Jess as lightly as he could given the situation.

Once they were there, Emily was put into a wheelchair and carted quickly into a room. It seemed in that moment, that everyone available had really jumped into action.

Jess woke slowly, but saw Gavin's urgency and changed quickly before they left.

Nate followed quickly, standing beside Emily once she was put on the bed.

Gavin drove rather fast to the hospital, and was told they would have to wait until the delivery was done to go in. He paced back and forth, worried for his sister.

Emily reached over and took Nate's hand, squeezing it as she was talked through what she needed to do. It seemed forever, probably because of all the pain but after a while, she soon heard a soft crying fill the air of the delivery room. "It's a girl." She was told as she was gently given the girl to hold, all cleaned up and wrapped in a blanket. "Hi there." She spoke softly, glancing up at Nate with a broad smile.

Jess tried to sit and appear calm, but she was just as worried as Gavin.

Nate was crying joyfully as he smiled down at Emily and his new daughter. "Hello, Elena Kinsleigh Green."

Gavin paused as a nurse came out, saying they could come in now. Once they did, Emily was wiping the joyful tears from her eyes. She glanced up from the bundle of joy to look at Gavin and Jess, and smile wide. "Come see your niece."

Nate smiled at Gavin and Jess, wiping his tears away.

Jess came forward and smiled wide at the new baby girl.

"I'd like you two to meet Elena." Emily spoke quietly still, not wanting to bother the baby. Gavin gave a smile to his brother in law, before looking at the baby girl.

Jess smiled at Emily and Nate. "She's beautiful, you two."

"Mmhm." Emily agreed, realizing something. "I forgot..." She remarked before glancing up at Nate, "You want to hold her?"

Nate smiled and took Elena gently in his arms. he smiled down at his daughter and brought a hand up to her little nose and touched it softly and she peered up into his face. "Welcome to the world, Elena. I love you so much, sweetheart."
