What Goes Bump in the Night

Killiam smiled. "Maybe I'll tell you some of my stories later, but I was wondering if you sensed the other paranormal earlier."

Milina brightened at the thought. She was going to try it and soon, she needed to know. "Would you coach me?" She pondered, hoping he would be willing to.

((I thought I'd let you guys know that I'm still here and watching, xD. *figured it might seem like she disappeared* ))

(I believe we're just about to stick your character in finally Sorry for the wait.)
Hazel had to think a moment, "I did, sort of. Couldn't really tell what he was though. Usually I can but, not as quickly lately. Do you think we should get in contact with him?"

Caelan smiled just a bit. The gesture he didn't really make that often. "Sure." He answered simply.

(Yeah sorry you had to wait a while!)

Killiam nodded. "I think he was some type of fair folk, I'm not sure on the specifics though. That's curious that you cannot determine it as quickly, you should be able to--witches and Dragons usually do." he stated and then added, "I believe we should contact him."

Milina wanted to jump up an down in her seat with excitement, but noticed that Killiam and Hazel were discussing something important.

((Yay! And it's fine. ^^ I've been ccing with one of the other people on the site and chatting with all of them on Skype, so I've had something to do.))

(Oh okay. Otherwise, y'know, we wouldn't have wanted to keep you hanging.)

Caelan glanced over, now paying attention to the conversation at hand. Hazel nodded, "Well, the day's still young. We could now if you'd like?"

Lucas moved his staff from the chair, relaxing into the seat and grabbing a book sitting on a nearby table. As he flipped through it, however, he thought of the paranormals he'd encountered on his way home. For some reason, he couldn't get them out of his mind.
It's easier to stay hidden if I'm alone, he reminded himself.
However, it would have been nice to have someone to talk to. He'd been alone for quite some time, and missed having others around. He wasn't exactly the type that enjoyed not having anyone to talk to.

Killiam nodded in agreement. "Let's go find him, then."
Milina was still a little confused about what was going on, but followed the others.

Hazel followed Killiam, half behind and half next to him. Caelan was behind her but in front of Milina. Hazel kept quiet, getting in tune with the surroundings. She closed her eyes and took a breath, able to pin point the location after a small moment. "I found him, c'mon." She said as she headed towards that spot.

Killiam smiled, sensing the magic she was using, wishing there were more elemental users. He followed her, Milina behind him and Caelan.

Hazel stopped when she reached the house, glancing back at their little group before knocking on the door.

Lucas stiffened, glancing away from his book as he picked on something outside. Setting the book to the side, he grabbed his staff from the floor, leaving it in its cloth covering, and walked over to his door. Hesitating just a little, he pulled his hood back up and opened the door to look outside.
If it hadn't been his imagination, he could have sworn he felt those paranormals that he'd seen earlier. To his surprise, he was right. For a moment he just stared at the people outside of his door, not quite sure what to say.

Killiam was already standing behind her when Milina and Caelan got to the stoop.

(No problem, I just wondered a sec. Lol.)

"Um, hi." Hazel greeted a bit awkwardly with a small wave. "We're pretty sure you're one of us." She stated, getting right to the point.

Killiam nodded a hello and gave a small wave.
Milina gave him a smile in greeting.

Lucas shook himself, realizing that he should probably do something besides stare.
"You're paranormals," he said in response to the girl's words. "I... yeah, that's right."
It wasn't like he could hide it, and there really wasn't a reason for him to hide it.
He simply stared at them again before realizing something and taking a step back from his door to open it up wider for them.
"Sorry, would you like to come in?"

"Yes, please." Hazel retorted politely, before taking a step into the home and entering it with the others following in behind her.

Killiam gave him a smile as he passed, stepping into the boy's home.
Milina quickly followed Killiam inside, staying close, feeling like he was her protector because she was still a little unsure of the situation.

Lucas shut the door once one of them were in, unable to help himself from staring at all of them once again.
Get a hold of yourself, he scolded himself mentally.
"Um.. sit wherever you'd like," he managed to say, gesturing at the couch and chair in the room. "I... I'm Lucas."

Hazel took a seat on the couch, introducing herself. Caelan said his name, standing next to her and leaning against the arm of the couch.

Killiam took a seat in the chair and introduced himself. Milina stood close to him and quietly said her hello and introduced herself.

(I'm going to get off in a little while, just thought I'd let you guys know )

Lucas glanced between all of them as they introduced themselves. Bewilderment was the only thing he was able to figure out he was feeling. It was wonderful to have people around, but...
"Um... it's nice to meet all of you..." he began, hesitating. "But... why are you here?"

(Thanks for the heads up. .)

"Well, we figured since there are so few of us, it would be good to be in groups rather than individually and we wondered, if you'd like to be a part of that." Hazel spoke.

(Yep I'll tell you when it's my last post for the night )

Killiam spoke up now. "We want to build our numbers to try and help keep each other safe. To watch each other's back."

Lucas was once again put in a state where he could only stare at them. A group? Meaning he would actually be able to be with people? He'd have people to talk to?
"I... I..." he began, then cleared his throat, managing to get thoughts on tract. "I would love to."
