Camp Love Lake (Rated Mature b/c, hey, it's camp LOVE lake)

Kayden started to cry.
"Claire . . . Claire . . . . I'm not feeling regret right now. What happened last night was . . . Wow . . . " he smiled.
He paused and his face fell.
"I suck. I really, really suck." he sighed.

Claire: "Yeah, you really do!" I snapped, standing up. "You know why?! Because after last night, you're still thinking about her!" Fucking Elliot.

^excuse the cuss.

Kayden stood up.
"Shit. No, I meant I've played two girls now, Claire, and I suck for it!"
He stood close to her, forgetting he was still nude.
"Claire, I don't regret what happened. I know it was wrong and stupid and . . . ugh. Do you . . ."
He remembered himself saying the exact same thing to Elliot. Or along the same lines. He was speechless right now. He though he loved Claire, then Elliot, and Claire again. He couldn't trust himself.

Claire: "No, Kayden, I don't regret what happened," I said softly locking eyes with him, then snapping my gaze awya. "I regret you." I turned on my heel and stormed away.

Kayden wanted to scream. But he let her walk away, knowing he had better be alone.
No, he really had better get this over with. He pulled his clothes on, not quite understanding why /Claire/ was mad at him. But Elliot, oh, Elliot would be mad, for good reason.
I have to get this over with, he thought, so I can hurry and re-apply to a new university.
He walked over to her cabin and knocked on the door.

Elliot finished packing all her stuff and started out the door to see Kayden. "Hey," she said, but saw a familiar car and her mom waving her over. "I'd love to talk, but I really, /really/ have to go. I'll see you in the future," she said, turning and jogging away, getting in the car and looking at the camp one more time and driving away. Oh well... She'd see him at university.

AHH!

*Runs ahead to a scene where Kayden and Elliot are at univeristy!! HAHHAHAHAH!*

Claire: My family's limosine pulled up to the university, and the chauffer dropped my stuff on the curb. Mommy and daddy were glad to get rid of me now. I waved goodbye to the car, and rubbed my tummy nervously.

Why did mommy and daddy hate me now?

Why did I rub my tummy?

Because I was pregnant.

Kayden had just arrived to university. Glancing across the lot at Claire, seeing her stomach made it all too real. He'd know about the the baby after a phone call and visit. He'd decided to not run away, maybe do right in his life to help fix the wrong. Whatever it took, if Claire kept the baby, he would be there the whole time. Even if she didn't want him.

He walked out of the lot and unto the building, seeing Elliot in the lobby. Her eyes lit up when she saw him. And then Claire walked behind him, obviously pregnant, and Elliot a very different look.

"Elliot, I-" he stuttered, truly hating
Himself.

Claire: I just brushed past them, as if they were strangers. I didn't want anything to do with either of them. I dragged my suitcase behind me, off to find my dorm.

Elliot's eyes landed on Claire and then Keyden's guilty face. She lips pressed into a tight line and she could feel tears spring into her eyes, but not enough to over flow. Without a word, she got up and left the lobby, her strides quick and long, trying to gain as much land as fast as possible. Once a cheater, always a cheater.

What had he expected, really? He let out a hopeless sigh an turned to sign in.

Really? As he looked at the list, it was shown that Claire and Elliot were roomates. Room 39. He shook his head and decided to stop by later to give them both time to think.

Claire: I walked into the dorm and claimed the bed near the window, beginning to unpack. I wondered who my roommate was. Hopefully someone nice.

Elliot walked down the hall and into her room to see her roomate. Claire. She dropped her bags by her bed and continued on, like nothing was there. She pulled out her laptop and checked her schedule. Making sure her classes we in order and then looked around the small room. Someone really hated her.

Claire: "Hi," I greeted, though I didn't look her way. I just figured I'd get the whole silent-elephant-in-the-room thing out of the way. Just the talking barrier, I mean. I was sure she'd figured out that I was pregnant.

"Hi," she said, her tone bitter, full to the brim with acid. Elliot had every right to be pissed at her. And Kayden. Especially him. He said he loved her and then what? Getting some other girl, your ex to be precise, isn't the best way of showing it. And apparently, she didn't do too much to stop it.

Claire: "How are you?" I said civilly, not sounding as bitter as her. She was mad?! She'd stolen Kayden from me, then surprise surprise he wanted ME back. It was her fault for being the mistress type person.

Elliot looked at her incredulously. "Fine," she said curtly. She would have asked the same, but frankly, she didn't care. If the next few days, Claire hadn't gotten a dorm transfer, Elliot knew that she would.

Claire: I nodded, and sat down on my bed, flipping through a magazine.

Elliot finished packing her stuff and put her laptop in her bag. She stood up and started out of the room. Maybe exploring campus could take her mind off of things.

Claire: I stuck my tongue out after she'd left, meant for her, but I hadn't been able to do it to her face.

Kayden was in his room, puzzled. What could he say to them? Claire hated him, Elliot hated him, and they knew what happened. There was nothing to say, Kayden had expressed his desire to care for the baby to Claire over the phone and she was undecided. Really, Kayden could only draw the conclusion that anything between either of them was really, finally over. On his bed, Kayden began to cry, silent hot tears.
Elliot hated him, Claire hated him, and he hated himself.

Elliot had wandered down into the lobby and found herself lookin over the door arrangements. She was Kayden while skimming and sighed. She left the lobby and walked with a steady, purposeful gait. She found herself in front of a door, phone in hand. She dialed the once blissful number and waited.When the line picked up, she didn't even let him say hello. "Can I come in?" She asked.
