Shannon: I tilted my head, and kissed his cheek after I wiped the remaining tears from my eyes. I was still grieving, but didn't feel the need to cry.

Shannon: I hesitantly smiled, expecting my lips would quiver instead, but they didn't. I wrapped my arms around Sterling's torso. I still felt somewhat needy. I didn't want him to leave me, even for a second.
