"So would I. We don't travel galaxies. Believe it or not, technology is roughly the same on all the human planes and the surrounding ones. I can't speak for too many of the ones beyond those, because humans haven't explored a lot of them yet. We could always ask our vreshnik neighbors about the species surrounding them, but we don't have a good deal of vreshnik bonders. And the ones we do have don't know anyway."

Dylan: "Okay, hold up. I can feel my brain turning to mush just listening to you," I said.

Feyla: I chew slowly. The feeling is entirely alien to anything I've ever tasted before. It burns like cool flame sitting on my tongue, yet it tastes strangely similar to the wild mint leaves that I chewed as a child. Perhaps it is the fruit of a similar plant. I pant and fan my hands to cool off the bizarre sensation in my mouth. It's sharp, but at the same time quite nice.
"It's... yes. Very stimulating. And this comes from what exactly? I'm guessing its not the larvae of an insect, is it? Some kind of small fruit, perhaps?"

Dylan: I could feel my mouth drop open and I quickly shut it. "Uh, no. Try chemicals and high fructose corn syrup." Truthfully, I didn't know what was in gum. I just took a wild guess.

((Nike already explained what gum was *crosses arms* "It's made of wax, plastic, sugar, food-coloring, and artificial flavors." ._.))

"Like I said, wax and plastic."

((Hm. We're running out of things to do. I could bring in a Sybek to fight, if you want.))

Physical appearance: (I'm not sure how she'll look, I'll probably change my mind) Short dark chocolate brown hair, side fringe. Big-ish eyes, not sure what colour, bit of black eyeliner. Pale-ish skin.
Bio: Has three best friends, Julian, Kristen and Rachel. She has to move away from these friends in the story. Smart, and the kind of person who you can confide in.

Feyla: I freeze. In one shot I spit the gum into a nearby bin.
"Wax and... what was that other thing you said? Are you trying to poison me?"

((It's in some random person's house that we commandeered to get out of the rain. The rain is easing off, but it's still there. I think.

I'm gonna hold off on the Sybek so we can get acquainted with the new person ))

"Plastic. It's a petroleum product, which comes from oil. It's not poison; if you were to swallow it, it would just pass through your system and come out the end."

Amber: I stood by myself feeling nervous, wondering if Julian's ghost would come to haunt me any time soon.

I glance to the window, seeing another person standing outside in the rain.
"Somebody's out there," I say. "Shall we follow the trend and let her in? Or are you just going to run her through with your pike there?"

I stand outside wondering what to do next.

Dylan: "I say you let them in. What could it hurt?"

I blinked, then opened my eyes to see a house. I walked over and knocked on the door.

I walk to the door and open it.
"Hello there," I greet. "You're welcome to come in to get out of the rain."

I smile with appreciation, glad to get out of the rain.
"Thanks" I say, walking in.

"I'm Nike," I say. "That's Dylan, and this is Feyla. What's your name?"
I close the door behind her.

"Hi Nike, Dylan, Feyla." I greeted. "I'm Amber."
I looked around, feeling nervous - I really didn't want Julian's ghost to come at this moment.

Feyla: "There's something following her." To anyone else I must sound like a mad march hare, but I always trust what I smell, and with the runes on my armour I can smell what's coming, no matter what it is and where. "You know you said about killing her? Were you joking?"

Dylan: I looked Amber over quickly. She seemed scared. Maybe she wasn't the biggest fan of thunderstorms or maybe there really was something following her. To me, Feyla just sounded crazy, but it was always a possibility.

"Yes, I can feel an energy following her. Yes, I was joking. Even if she is being tailed by something unknown, she's still just an average human."

I sigh - what they're saying is right.
"Yes.." I mumur anxiously. "The energy following me if the ghost of.."
I wipe my eyes in order for no more tears to fall.
"..The guy who was my best friend" I finish.

Dylan: "Someone normal...But they can see ghosts. Great, just great." I sighed then looked up and said, "No offense. Sorry about your friend."

"It's not that it's me who can see the ghost." I tell him. "It's that the ghost haunts me."
I sigh.
