C. D. - character development

Victor: "I personally prefer to travel via airship. I admit that it has its flaws, but it is most certainly the most comfortable and reliable method of transport ever developed by human hands. I would challenge you to find a bethod mode of perambulation."

Dan:
"Personally I like using my own powers to fly never like planes or blimps they scare the crap out of me too much can go wrong" i say to victor

Victor: "Clearly the engineering capabilities your people rely on are somewhat substandard. When I left it had been two years since the last serious airship accident, and I find it so convenient to travel in a manner befitting a proper gentleman. One can always find a decent saloon on the largest airships, and there is always room for luggage. I imagine that you do not have quite the same freight transporting capacity merely flying by yourself." Victor checks his pocket watch and hurrs on the glass to clean it.

Dan:
"Well no but i just binarize my stuff and bring it with me" i shrug

Victor: "What a dull way to travel! I shouldn't like to move around in a flash. One would miss the view that way."

Dan:
"Who cares? IF you get there quick what does it matter"

Victor: "Dr Peppercorn warned me that that was the problem with the future. No time to stop and stare at some rare beauty found along the way. No one stops to smell life's roses now. I'm glad I don't come from a time like that." He buffs the face of the watch on his sleeve, before deciding that it is acceptable. He slips it back into the pocket of his waistcoat, and peers into his satchel.

"Well since everyones giving out their secrets...should I tell mine?" asked Evan to the small crowd. Cassie's eyes grew wide for she already knew Evan's secret.

Dan:
"May as well," I say sitting, "it seems you guys dont wnat to go anywhere yet so go ahead" i shrug.

Evan looked at Cassie for a minute, "Go ahead and show 'em Evan" she said. Evan pulled up his sleeves to revel big black bruises which covered his arms.

"I'm abused," he said.

Dan:
I jump to feet, "So, so what? Oh, I'm abused! Wah wah!" I pull up my shirt sleeve on my right arm reavealing a nsty jagged scar, "My dad broke my freaking arm when I was twelve because he was bored!" I pull my shirt up for them to see my back, cuts and burns are all over it, "I was an ash tray for my mom! There wasnt a day of my child hood I wasnt hurt or beaten or yelled at!" I growl like an animal. "No, no no!" I yell, "Not here! Not now!" I yell and slam my fists into the wall the walls shake and crack. "I have to go! I'll be back if I can" I start to run out the door, "I'm sorry" i say to Evan as I leave. Then pain racks my body I scream and run outside and when I am far enough away, I let the change overtake me.

" Geez its not like I'm crying for myself. My mom had no courage to leave my dad. She was brainwashed. I have a scar on my neck from were my dad held a knife to my neck. Cassie found me in the park one night, she had known me before then of course and we were kinda going out. I was sleeping on a park bench, she took me and let me sleep in the tree house. And I told her... that''s my secret. I didn't tell anybody because I'm afraid of what my dad will do to my mom. I've got plenty of scars but he would have killed me and my mom if one of us tried to get help. Cassie, before she found me in the park, came to my house because I invited her to meet my mom. I thought my dad wouldn't be there but he was pased out drunk and I was afraid of what he might do. I shut the door in her face...she still took me in. I owe her so much...she's helped me. I love her." Evan said.

(Just so you know Dan is gone like miles away)
Dan:
I run around the forest angrily shooting lightning from my hands and knocking over trees with the sheer strecngth of the wolf. Then it goes black. When I wake up I see the house, it has stopped raining. No, I think no, I was too close it cant happen like this again I have to be calm. I walk in and see they are still ok, I sigh with relief and realize I am naked. I use binarization to pull clothes from nothing. I then apologize to Evan again and sit down.

Evan puts his hand over Cassie's eyes.
"What's going on?" asks a confused Cassie.
"You don't wanna know..." replies Evan. Once Dan is dressed, Evan takes his hand away. "It's ok." he says after Dan apologizes. He then tells him what he just told the others.

Dan:
Dan nods, "Well, it appears since your abuse is still going on then you have more troubles than I my friend, I mean parent wise, being a werewolf superhero kinda sucks, but my parent troubles are over, theyre dead" I say smiling, "No i didnt kill them a gang did"

"Yeah still going," said Evan sadly. "But Cassie's been there for me."

Cassie couldn't help but think what her brother said 'I can only give you advce but you have to make the choice' he was dead now. He died right after he had gone back to the navy. She had to make the call...soon.

Dan:
"You're lucky to have her, I have well a little bit like a grilfriend more like a teacher back home she's my age she's the one that turned me and I love her more than anything and she loves me too... I think"

"I am," said Evan, which only made Cassie internally upset because she felt like she didn't deserve it, the best thing would be to report the abuse, which she should do. But Evan said not to, would he be mad? Would he hate her? She was selfish? She was going to call. She had to for Evan's sake. She loved him.

Dan:
I shake my head at Cassie, "listeb I know what he's going through telling will just make it worse as long as he has you he can get through it" I tell her, "oh and I can read the electrical impulses from thoughts so technically I'm a mind reader too heh heh"

"What were you thinking?" asked Evan.
You tell him,thought Cassie to Dan, I will kill you.
"It's nothing," said Cassie.

Dan:
Out loud I say, "he has a right to know I won't tell but you should"

"No!" Cassie shouted, making everyone look up. She stormed out the front door.

Dan:
"We don't know where we are you should probably go get her" tell Evan

"It's no use...she may be quiet but she's as stubborn as ever." said Evan.

I nod "sorry that I made her mad"
