C. D. - character development

"I think she's upset with me." said Evan.

Dan:
I think she's more mad at me for reading her mind" I say

Evan shook his head, " I dunno."

Dan:
"I think we should move on when she comes back" I say to him

"Huh?" replied Evan.

Dan:
"If people or creatures are here and they are hostile they know we are here thanks to me" I said

"SHOULDN'T WE GO GET HERE?!" said Evan.

Victor: "That would be the most logical suggestion. After all, what with Lost Boys roaming the area she could be in danger. And no thanks to our lupine friend here they know that we're in a house that isn't ours. Which, as you may well know, is illegal. Anyone with a bit of sense wouldn't go around causing a commotion if they thought there were dangerous animals in the area." Victor pulls a heavy pistol from his satchel and powders it before dropping a lead shot into the barrel and forcing it home. He pulls back the hammer. "I have one shot if it comes to a fight, but I have never practiced with one of these."

"We're trained for combat," Peter started, "both hand to hand and power to power. I'd love to see a Lost Boy kill anyone with a gun he can't fire. Or attack after he's had a thermite explosion right on the center of his chest."
"So really," I said, "there's nothing to worry about." Then a small smile crept onto my face. "And if you want to see a real nasty scar, check this out." In a swift motion, I grabbed Peter's shirt and yanked it up about halfway.
"Hey!" he exclaimed, pulling it back down over the sizeable burn scar that covered a portion of his stomach on the right side. "I, uh, I was in a building that blew up," he explained, embarrassed. "I had a huge chunk of shrapnel lodged in there, but there was no one around to help me, so I had to pull it out myself. I had to burn my own flesh afterwards to keep from bleeding to death. I consider myself lucky that I didn't just pass out from shock or something."
"He was twelve at the time," I added.

Dan:
"You said not to" I tell Evan, "but yeah we should, as for fighting I can probably do some damage with my powers and if electricity doesn't worl I was altered in other ways as well" I stand and say, "well let's go get your girlfriend evan I'm not staying here to die"

Evan dashes out the door, shouting "Liz!" over and over again but she's gone.

Dan:
I follow evan and say "if you want I could do a fly over to see if I can find her"

"I dunno! I got to find her!" said Evan, he was already in panick mode.

Dan:
"Chill man, do you guys have any powers or are you just normal?" I ask

Penny: I was just very confused by everything that was going on, so I waited for someone to possibly explain things to me. But if not, I supposed I could just sit around and watch too.

Dan:
I explain everything to Penny I'm a werewolf that has electric super powers I had drawn attention to our position by an accidental change and I had accidently driven away Cassie and we were probably gonna have to fight a bunch of Lost Boys which I still didnt understand what they were yet

Penny: I nodded as I listened to Dan, a little surprised he was a werewolf. He seemed kind of gentle to be one. But I didn't argue and just listened to everyone else talk.

"NO! I'M NORMAL!!! If...anything happened to her...I don't...know what I'd do." said Evan.

Penny: I turned around at the outburst, wondering why the boy looked so...almost desperate. I couldn't describe his expression using anything except that word. What was going on here?

Victor: "You look puzzled," he observes. "I would theorise that you have no idea what's happening, yes?"

Penny: Assuming that boy was talking to me, I nodded. "Yes. Could you explain to me what is happening right now?"

Victor: "I would be delighted to do so. Several people have turned up. There's a shifter called Peter, and his friend Nike (pronounced Nee-kay), also there's two people called Cassie and Evan, and a flying, lightning-throwing werewolf called Dan. Apparently Dan can read minds as well, and has upset Cassie so that she ran away. That probably wasn't the best thing to do, as there are Lost Boys clanking around outside. and the sun's going down, so they're going to be overtly hostile. Does that help?" Victor's hands are sweating as he handles the ornate pistol. He notices that Penny is staring at it in mild horror. "I'm expecting trouble."

Penny: My eyes had widened during his explanation, and I barely managed to nod. "Oh," I said. "Um...are you going to use that? And what's your name?"

Victor: He grins nervously and licks his lips. Again, nervously. "I hope not." He chuckles in an embarrassed way. "I've never fired one of these in my life. And this one is one is pretty old. It's as likely to take my hand off as to fire properly." he stops for a moment. "Sorry, I talk too much when I get anxious. My name is Victor."

((By the way, the pistol is an ornate Victorian single-shot flintlock pistol.))

(Ah, okay. Still scary.)

Penny: I nodded, not really sure how to reply to him. "Oh. Um...I'm Penny. Hi. I don't think I introduced myself."
