"Never mind...it's nothing." Cassie replied.

Dan:
I glare at Victor and mouth, not now.

"Is it something I did? asked Evan.
"No...you didn't do anything."
"Then why can't you tell me?"

Dan:
"I told her that she should tell the cops about you and she didn't want to because you said not to" I say suddenly trying to help out Cassie.

((I don't know where this idea came from, but I hope you understand what the word "shifter" implies when you say it. My characters can't shapeshift, but they can shift through universes. Just wanted to make sure that was clear.))

Killing those Lost Boys was really easy. Impale with an earth spike here, crush a metal skull there. They dropped like flies. I knew there was nothing to worry about, especially since Peter could keep guns from firing. I surveyed the area after the fight was finished.
"Oh...ha...sorta made a mess of things," I said.
There were cracks running through the ground and pillars of earth jutting out from the street. A lot of stuff was on fire, too.
"Just clean it up," Peter told me, walking over towards me. "Same old, same old."
"Right."
I put my hands out in front of me and closed my eyes, concentrating and reversing the damage I'd caused. Well, to the best of my ability, anyway. I opened my eyes again as the asphalt and concrete moved like liquid back to their former positions. When I was finished, I returned my hands to my sides.
"My turn now," Peter said.
He held out his arms to the sides, palms facing up. In a sweeping motion, he brought his arms forward and down; the numerous fires covering just about anything flammable shrank and were extinguished. He relaxed, took a few deep breaths, and wiped his brow.
"Well, that's as good as it gets," I said, the two of us walking back to the rest of the group. "There's no way to hide all the evidence, but that's kind of unavoidable."
"At least the street is clear," Peter mentioned with a shrug. "You know, aside from all the dead bodies."

" Dan!"

"I thoughet we talked about this."

" You can't keep living like that...he could kill you."

" HE'LL KILL MY MOM AND ME!!"

"You gotta stop it. Im afraid."

"AFRAID OF WHAT?!"

"That if you continue to live there even if he doesnt physically kill you...he'll crush you. Your happiness...Every thing that makes you you. I see what your like qhen you leave. Sad. Lonely. Terrified. Of Him and what it will be.like when he does."

Victor: "That's why I don't trust anyone with more mystical powers than I can count on one hand without taking my mittens off." He frowns. "That is a figure of speech, you understand. I don't know anyone with any form of unnatural powers... I think." He stops and stares into the middle distance for a moment. "And I don't wear mittens either, for that matter."

"Evan?" asked Cassie.

"Yeah?"

"You were quiet after I said that..."

"So?" said Evan angerly.

"Do you think he will?"

Victor: "Do you think who will do what?" Victor realises that the conversation has left him behind.

Evan doesn't answer but remains silent in anger and fear. Fear of what Cassie said and how it was true.

"I love you, Evan and I'm worried." said Cassie before leaving to the other room. Outside wasn't the best option.

Victor: "I'm no mind reader, but I would surmise that Evan would do all in his power to protect you. added to the fact that we're even we don't know where we are, I expect that you're probably safe for the time being." Victor looks around in a puzzled way. "And who has my pistol?"

"Dunno," Peter said. "I didn't take it. Do you know when you lost it?" Peter frowned, then held his arms out low to his sides. "Just to be on the safe side, I'm preventing all combustion in the surrounding area."

"I think I left it outside...sorry," said Evan.

Victor: "I don't really need it." He checks the pocket watch. "In fact, I must be going now." He packs his satchel and steps outside, where a late Victorian car rests outside, adorned with brass globes. In the driver's seat is a middle-class young gentleman in a top hat, wearing a heavy set of goggles. "Must be off, now, Victor!" He shouts. Victor climbs into the passenger's seat, and the car drives away, disappearing in a haze of lightning.

" Um...what just happened?" asked a confused Evan.

Be warned, my aliens are a little strange.

Name: Jut-Cha Sle, aka The Skipper, aka Skip.

Race: Nuska. (This is just the name of one of the main clans of her species, used as a name for the species. The other main clan is the Hoort clan.)

Gender: Female.

Appearance: Green-blue skin, four arms. As Nuska have four pectoral muscles, Nuska females have four breasts. Try not to stare, Nuska are a proud race and don't like speciesism. All Nuska have no hair, but a cluster of spines like the back end of a porcupine. Skip's are glossy black. All Nuska are tall and slender, and extremely agile. The Skipper is no exception, at 6'1". While each arm of a Nuska is slightly weaker than that of a human, with twice the number of arms they are almost twice as strong.

Description: Jut-Cha wears light and flexible armour, and generally carries a carbine in her lower arms. She loves practical jokes and punching things. She works on and off in the retinue of the local Noronel (peace-keeping force, a bit like a cross between a jedi knight and a 40k inquisitor), and has landed nearby to slack off for a bit. She speaks Galaxicon (Galactic Standard Lexicon, a language designed to be roughly understandable to most inhabitants of the galaxy), Nuska, and Q-Anglish (approximately the same as English).
