C. D. - character development

Skipper: She sneaks down the road, sticking to the shadows, before approaching the door. She hears people in the living room of this house. This should be fun...
She bursts through the shattered door, her four arms framed in the streetlight, waiting for the reaction.

(I keep missing out on what's happening. What are we doing?)

"WHAT? WHO ARE YOU?! CAAAASSSSSIIIIIEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" yelled Evan.

((We're still indoors, but Victor has left and been replaced with my new character. Look above your post for details.)

Victor left and new character came.

Skipper bursts out laughing so hard that she has to clutch the door frame with three of her arms. "Your f-f-face when you saw me..." She collapses laughing again.

Penny: I frowned. There was someone new, and she looked...interesting. "Um...hi?"

Skipper throws herself down on a sofa, chuckling. She sprawls on it, stretching her top pair of arms, still giggling. "Hi! The name of me is Jut-Cha Sle, but if you can handle me you can call me the Skipper, or Skip for short."

Penny: I raised an eyebrow and nodded. "Can I call you Skippy?"

Cassie comes out of the room rubbing her eyes, she had been sleeping. "Wha....whose that?" she asked.

"Uh...Skip apparently..."replied Evan

"I'm Cassie and that's Evan."

"Crazy names! What are you lot, anyway? I guessed that you were human-derivative, and I reckon that you're a gamma-plus civilisation bordering on beta-double-minus, but what ARE you?"

Penny: "Skippy," I said. "That's a pretty awesome name."

"Thanks! So what're we all doin' here anyway?"

Penny: I shrugged. "Waiting out the rain."

"Yup," said Cassie.

Penny: "Wish we had something to do, though."

"What like? There's a lot to do in a universe like ours."

(They could play a board game like Scrabble or Sorry.)

"Well... In case of boredom, I always carry this with me." She draws a small silver disc from one of her many pockets. "It's a virtual space bubble. It has a limited range, but it can project a limited virtual reality directly into the minds of observers within its radius, and it can recieve incoming broadcasts, like the news or a narrative broadcast... Films, you would say."

Penny: "Okay! Let's watch them!"

"Okayyy... Comedy? No. Most of the jokes would be a little... Alien to you. Horror? No. Definitely not. How about..." there is a momentary flash of some alien skin hues, and Skipper's cheeks turn greener in embarrassment. "Ignore that. What about a... What's the word? Documentary? See my planet perhaps."

Penny: "Sure," I said. "I'd love to see it."
