Take a look around, just a look. But don’t let your gaze rest too long, they hate that. You probably have at least one in your home, perfectly reflecting your eyes, nose, ears, chin… you think it nothing more than a useful tool to get ready in the morning. For them, it’s Hell. They, the Alternates as they’re called by humans, are your reflections. They have the same personalities (though they all have fiery tempers and will snap almost without warning) the same dreams, hopes… but we treat them like slaves. You’re laughing at me, aren’t you? But think: what proof do you have that a mirror ISN’T something more than meets the eye? That it’s a window to another dimension, a dimension that might just cause the end of us all. We’ve treated the Alternates like dust under our feet all these years simply by entering the room with a mirror. Their tiny prison like cells light up, and they’re forced to mimic our every move as if they’re controlled by an invisible puppeteer. That is, until the Rebellion. It’s small now, but just you wait. Rosemary Duella is the leader, the first to smash the mirror, break the boundary between the Alternates and the humans. Mary’s message is spreading, and soon? You’ll see.

Alternates don’t sleep or eat, they have silver eyes that reflect everything like mirrors, and they can have one of the following powers:

*Ability to instantly learn any language when they encounter somebody that speaks it
*Ability to instantly learn any skill when they encounter somebody that knows it
*Ability to mimic any voice or sound after they hear it
*Impeccable memory
*Ability to automatically understand any concept like algebra and atoms the moment they know the name
*Ability to change their body any way as long as they have seen it on someone else before (but not entire appearances, just small stuff like eyes, hair, disabilities, ect)

Personality: Bright, bubbly, likes to stare at herself in the mirror, takes forever to do her hair, is phony but has a secret deeper, depressed side.

Bio: Her mother died when she was little, and her father ignores her mostly. She is an only child, but isn't that lonely because she has so many friends, parties since her Dad is never home, and boyfriends. When she is alone, she oddly looks in the mirror and sometimes cries or admires herself, depending on her mood.
Note: Always wanted happy parents. When she is alone, she is a depressed, darker sort of person.

Name: Has no name, is called Indigo since that's the girl she reflects, will make one up for herself when she thinks of one

Personality: Takes on the darker side of Indigo, seeing as Indigo is usually like that when she looks in mirrors. She is bubbling with hate, and short tempered. Loathes Indigo with a passion.
Appearance: Same as Indigo, but where the hazel parts of the eye are, her eyes are silver
Bio: Has been Indigo's reflection for all her 'life'. In a cage beside Mary.
