I look back at him with a smile, sensing his frustration. "You do not know her past that well, i bet. All that she's told you has been dancing around the truth. But I tell you Ami is Ayakashi. She's killed as Ami before. She's killed as Ayakashi before. Sarah knows. Ami cannot hide her past from her. Why do you think Sarah keeps quiet about it?"

Finn didn't like the way she smiled at him. He knew that amused look. He'd rather feel invisible than studied, or at least, studied in that way. "We all 'ave pasts, and none are perfect. I'm not going to run screaming because someone's past is just as shaky as mine. If not more. Some things happen."

Right on cue, the stagelight flickered out. Finn was almost glad. He quickly whistled an angry little phrase. "You're gonna 'ave t' wait a looong time for that!" He called after her.

Finn watched in awe dispite himself, then crossed his arms. Great. If anyone saw that they were bound to find some daredevil kids sneaking around, trying to find the angel in the haunted church. "Pft. Outlanders," he concluded, and turned to climb up to the lights again. He left the feather in the stage.

Grr...no one else is on...

anyhoo! Quick summary. All that's happened is Brawne woke up and is *trying* to run screaming from Cricket (who is trying to convince him that he is NOT a ghost), and Finn and Sanae had a slightly tense discussion that would have taken place before Sparrow woke up. And....that's about it Smile

lol. Well currently he's got his hands full (quite literally lol). But...maybe we could cheat a little bit and say that the scene happens after the Crick/Brawne scene is done? ...Or would that even work?

Brawne wriggled in Cricket's sturdy grasp, his feet flailing dangerously close to the other boys southern regions. With a final shout he slipped free. "I dunno what you want wif' me, but the thing about bein' scrawny, you see..." Brawne winked cockily "is that it makes it easier to get what I want from you." he held up an object he had taken from Cricket's pocket, his hand had fit perfectly in, not even brushing the fabric. Being small had it's advantages. Too bad he had no idea what it was the he had taken.

Cricket cocked an eyebrow, then smirked. Sounded like something he used to say. "Nice use of distraction, kid. Who taught you?" He didn't bother to take back the knife, yet. He might get it back later, if he felt like it. It wasn't a good one.
