Hands clasped behind my back, i study the floor that i walk. Sort of dusty but a dark wood, sort of reddish. Everything at 51 was white. Go....where? I look up and stop, glancing around. Huh. Where might I be...

Annaleah felt alone with her thoughts again. As if she needed any more of that; she'd felt lonely a lot lately. And even before lately. She gazed off into nothing, so silently ambling down the dim halls that neither of the two passer-bys noticed each other until she ran smack into her like she'd hit a wall. Annaleah jumped back, "Oi! Pardon me, I didn't see you--" was that Wisp?

Cricket: " 'ello." *grins and says it like a white boy*

I glance over at her apathetic, making sure my face doesn't read anything. "Annaleah," i murmur quietly, meeting her eyes.

"Well you seem to have made up your mind about it already. Why are you asking me?" Milo asked sincerly roughly dragging the towel through his sopping hair, making it stick up at all angles.

Annaleah tried to think of something to say to fill the awkward silence. She dusted herself off. "Wisp. Pardon again. Papa says I really should pay more attention every now and then."

Ami
I shrug a little, studying him again. I missed his hair; black hadn't suited him well. "What do you think?" I ask, tilting my head in question. "You've probably seen the most of me - Ami, Ayakashi, haywire emotions in all." I give a small smile, looking away and blushing again. Don't do this to yourself, he won't leave Sparrow I mentally scold but the thoughts and memories don't go away so easily.

Papa...? It takes me a few moments to figure out. The Warden's daughter, Annaleah. Annaleah's father, the Warden. I see. "It's fine." I look the opposite way shyly, though trying not to convey it to her.

Annaleah saw through her charade into her thoughts like she was watching through a window. Wisp's eyes had changed as soon as she said the word 'Papa,' first to confusion, then realisation, then...what was it? Disomfort, somehow. Annaleah clasped her hands behind her back and shyed away an inch, a strand of hair slipping over her shoulder. "You aren't very fond of me...are you?" She asked quietly.

"No, I -" My mask cracks as i frown, thinking though new emotions, not all having names for me just yet. "There's confusion...and something missing..." My hand goes to the hollow of my chest unconsciously. "Uncomfortable..."

"You aren't human," Milo turned and met Ami's eyes, a sturdy sureness readiating from him "but you are most deffinatley, not an it."

Annaleah tucked the strand behind her ear, only a hint of a frown showing on her face. Well, wasn't this as awkward as a blind man without a cane. From the corner of her eye she saw Wisp's hand venture to her chest. "It tends to happen to all of us, I suppose," she said after a moment.

Ami
My smile grows just a bit, as well as my cheeks a shade darker, and with it all inner scolds go too. I take a small step forwards and rest my forehead against his chest, closing my eyes a moment just to savor his scent. "Thank you, Milo," i say quietly. My smile fades slightly though, shoulders slump slightly. Soon right?

"All of you?" I question. "Not like this though, I suppose." I catch myself, lowering my hand again. "Not to you...not to Cricket. The two of you seem like a set..."
