"A friend...from the Institute..." I mutter at first. "But he's good! He helps me, i promise. He's like the others..." I pause, trying to word it right. "51 hadn't expected me to wake up for three more months; they hadn't finished my immune system or turned off my aging...so I have to go and get medicine for it..."

Milo searched her face "So what you're telling me is that you need to go speak to this Aiden guy, so that you can get the medication you need?" and for someone else to tell her she wasn't an it besides me.

"Could...say that..." Unless I was to die from the common cold or age drastically. I had originally been planned to stop at fourteen or so, like Wisp, but the time by myself over a month added some four years. I suppose even a created being couldn't be perfect. "Just...telling you. You don't have to come, of course." i bite my lip and look up at Sparrow for half of a second.

"Did you want me to?" Milo asked not sure what he wanted the answer to be.

I give a small smile. "If you want to," i say, giving him his own response. "It'll certainly be easier to get there now with Wisp and -" I don't think he knows about her reappearance though. Mo had told me before; he was hanging around to keep an eye on her as I had told him, so far she seemed as changed as i was at that point.

Milos eyes widened in shock "Wisp?!" he asked a confused and angry expression sweeping across his features as he stepped out the door.

I wince slightly. "No, no, she's free of 51 now. She's better." Odd. She's more of a weapon than me at this point and I call her 'she'. "Mo is watching her, and she's under Finn's command now..." If that made the situation better in his mind. I can't really tell.

I felt a un-easy feeling rumbling around inside me "That makes me feel loads better thanks." my voice comes out rough, sarcastic. Great.

I frown slightly, looking away. Maybe I should have just stayed hidden in the pantry... It just might have helped everyone in this room... Sparrow could have Milo like she wants, Milo can be happy with her, Wisp could remain secret - at least for now anyway, and I....still brooding about being an 'it'...not being able to get what I wanted. Breaking like glass inside all over again. Stop it; you're not helping yourself at all!

I'm startled, looking up at him wide eyed. "No, Milo, I -" I don't know what to say... "I shouldn't...be doing this..." I tense and cross my arms around myself, moving to leave. "I'll just go. I'll be back in a day or so," i murmur.

I pushed off the wall and began to stomp off. I did'nt have to take this. "I'll see you around. I can see when I'm not wanted." I mutted as I glided out the archway.

I stop when Sparrow storms off, pursing my lips as my eyebrows knit together. Messing everything up, aren't you? I hang my head ashamed, but why is a part of me relieved? Happy even? I squeeze my eyes shut as they prick, my hands fisting at my sides.

Winnie felt the punch slam the bone right below her eye, the force knocking her back to the ground again. She sucked in a breath, sitting back up. She hoped that wouldn't bruise...too bad..."Hardy ha-ha," she said shakily.

Crooks smiled down at her. "Alright, lassy. You 'ave something t' say before I let Quincy finish what she started?"

Aaaaannd she was out of there. At that Winnie nimbly jumped up and ran for the door. Yelling wouldn't do any good; this was Crooks' territory, anyhow.
