Well now, she's snarky and a coward. Two of Crooks's other guys jump in front of the door and block her path.
"Now now girly, I'm sure you don't want t' make this harder than it has to be," I call to her.

Winnie ignored the guys, made a dart for the gap between them to freedom, but one grabbed her and threw her back in. She crossed her arms and pouted, staying on the ground. "Sticks and stones! Using that t' repay words? Touuuu-chy!"

I merely roll my eyes, looking over at Crooks with a smile. "so you interested yet?" I ask

Crooks smirked. "She 'ave any more information for me? This could be interesting."

Quincy
"And that's up to how much she wants to get beaten around, isn't it?" I walk away for the bat, a smirk on my face. Even if she doesn't know anymore, Crooks could still use the lift in mood. He's been seriously down in apathetic land for way too long

Cricket chuckled. "A'right, carry on. As for you, kid, I suggest you talk right quick," he said, as Quincy returned. "I repeat, anything else you want t' say t' me? Is he with anyone?"

I lean the bat against my legs as I adjust my gloves tighter, eying her with amused eyes. "last chance before the porcelain doll gets a smashed face."

Winnie stayed pouting on the ground. "Pardon, did I stutter? Crick's back. All I know. Zip. 'e 'ad some posse with 'im, sure, but I've never seen 'em b'fore in my life so don't go asking me t' elaborate. Questions? Take a number and wait your turn. Don't call me, my people'll call you. Buh-bye now, sweet cheeks." She blew a piece of hair out of her face, secretly bracing herself for a blow. Oh holy hell she was in for it. Oh damn she was done in.

I pause, raise an eyebrow. For a munchkin, she knew who almost everyone was. "Outsiders then?" I turn to Crooks, keeping my curious face. "This got interesting. Cricket wasn't dead then, he just found a way off the island...Can we give 'em a little welcome party, Crooks? Any friend of Crick is a friend of ours?"

Crooks raised an eyebrow, then smiled. "Of course, positively. Shall we bring along a welcome gift or leave it 'ere for later?" Crooks said, gesturing to Winnie like she was a box of chocolates rather than a person.

Winnie didn't feel a blow, and soon enough became bored pouting. She cautiously looked at the two and realised who they were talking about. "Aaaah no, I'm not going int' any haunted anything..."

I grin. "Oh it might be fun to bring it now, let em see how we found em! Like a lil GPS, aren't you?". Still afraid of those ghost stories huh? Such a child... "got to grow up sometime, pony girl. Personally, I'd like to find 'em ghosts anyway, jus' t' say Quincy Fox beat their game!"

I stop when Sparrow storms off, pursing my lips as my eyebrows knit together. Messing everything up, aren't you? I hang my head ashamed, but why is a part of me relieved? Happy even? I squeeze my eyes shut as they prick, my hands fisting at my sides.

I don't know, Milos so far from what he originally was, but not in a good way. He drifted away from himself and its REALLY bothering me. To the point where I just get annoyed and cant write with him

Hi guys! Sorry I wasn't on all day, things were a bit chaotic.

So apparently the world is ending tomorrow, and I made sure to check one more item off my bucket list. People, I just sang karaoke. Sure I stank up to high heaven, but I think of it as my way of sharing my small end-of-the-world victory with the angels up there xD

I plan on staying on this earth at least long enough to wear my promotion dress, thank you ver much.

"Oh, shut up," Winnie said. "You'll run scared b'fore you get two steps in." She jumped when a strong hand grabbed her arm. Crooks had moved so silently she hadn't noticed him until then.

"A'right, lassy, you coming willingly?" He yanked her to her feet, smiling. If the place wasn't inhabited by Cricket, they could always just leave her in there for the sake of it. Either way she would end up in a bad situation. And he honestly couldn't care less.

Winnie tried to yank herself away, failed, and used her free arm to throw a punch at Crook's face. He simply caught her free hand and threw her back to the ground. "Undeniably not. Quincy! Should I knock 'er out, or just make 'er stop squirming with th' bat?"

I grin and come up next to Crooks, preparing to swing at her. "How d' you like tha' idea, missy?" Last chance before your face gets a little make over, girl.

Winnie's heart jumped, but she put on a nonchalent face. "I'd like it very much, thank you." What did they call that? Reverse phsyco...some big word or another.
