Just a Regular chat.

Annaleah: That was a sad story, so intruiging and...hopeless. Then, as a writer, she couldn't help but think That would make a good book someday. "Why can't they? She asked.

Faylinn: "I don't know. They don't know. They're just here, but they don't like it here... the hospital is evil..." I simply said.

Annaleah: She nodded solemnly, not so much in agreement but in thought. "It might seem like it," she said, "I know what it's like to be trapped somewhere."

Faelinn: I narrowed my eyes. "Not like me." The evil place...i had been there for four years. I had not talked to a soul. The last time i had was to the detective who came to me. I said three simple words, knowing they were true, but not remembering the actual events. 'I did it.'

Annaleah: She held back the urge to be sympathetic like a person holds back the urge to pet a dog they know will bite. " Never. All the same, I've been trapped, too."

Faylinn: i grew annoyed. "Don't pity me..."
Mr Sam: "She doesn't like it."
Isabella: "Not one bit." her tail whipped in annoyance as well.

Annaleah: "I never said I pitied you."

Faelinn: I slyly smiled. "No, you didn't say so. but Annabel Lee can read minds. And Moi can tell what someone is feeling."

Annaleah: Now she was growing slightly annoyed. "You can't hold people's feelings against them," she said, "Nobody can control how they feel. If they do, they're lying to themselves."

Faylinn: "I don't think so." I looked up at Eric. "You do it quite well around me."
Eric: "Really? And who says i'm not just acting normally?"
Faylinn: "Isabella. She can tell when someone lies, remember? Be it to yourself -" i said pointedly to Annaleah, "-or to another."

Annaleah: She raised an eyebrow at Faylinn, then smiled. "Poetic. I like it. You've got a point--you may be insane, but you're not dumb." Her smile flattened to a more serious expression. "Even so, I'm not going to change anything I feel simply because you ask me to. I like you, I think. You're intruiging. But I won't change for you."

Faylinn: "Poetic?" I thought about it. I recited: " 'Let’s grow old together, and die at the same time.'
I said 'I’ve got no time, I have to go.'
And I was more right than I will ever know.
He said, 'My heart is faint. Will minds regret?'
And I left him crying at the chapel steps.
'Let’s grow old together, and die at the same time.' "
Isabella: I gave a cat's smile. "Thank you, young one."
Faylinn: I looked down to her. "Why would i forget your story?"
Isabella: I purred out my happiness. We all loved it at being remembered. It meant no one forgot us once we had died.

Annaleah: She watched Faylinn recite, fascinated. "That's lovely," she said, "So tragic, though. Do you know any more?"

Faylinn: "Yes. He ends up killing her because of it." I wasn't going to hide it.
Isabella: "And i made sure his soul went to the demons..." Her tail whipped around angrily. She had haunted him unlike he committed suicide, and then doomed him to hell. She purred in pleasure at the thought
Faylinn: "She says his soul went to the demons." I wasn't going to hide that either. "You know..." I paused. "I've always wondered if i was the sane one and everyone else is loony. I think so. No one ever enjoys anything anymore. They're always bustling around, controlled by time and death. What's the point?"
Mr. Sam: "Because they think they need to leave some sort of impact on the world."
Faylinn: I looked up at him sceptically. Not that he could see. He was just as blind as i was, his eyes just pitch black holes. "Maybe..."
Moi: "She doesn't believe you."
Mr. Sam: "I figured she might not. One can't really understand until they've died themselves."

Annaleah: She thought about that. "Perhaps people are sometimes confused," she said, "they lose sight of what's really important. I don't think that makes them crazy, but it takes away their freedom to enjoy things." Her expression soured slightly as she remembered her own family. "They get wrapped up in money and silly pride and...status...and the only one binding them is themselves. And by doing so they also bind others."

Faylinn: "maybe."
Annabel: "Sounds like me."
Faylinn: "Does it? A little, you were quite a fancy lady back then. Still am too."
Annabel: I lightly smiled at the complement. Even now, those lessons at manners school stuck with me. "Thank you very much, you are a beautiful girl as well - no matter what people say about you."
Faylinn: I giggled. "Thank you back."

Annaleah: she listened to the one-sided conversation, before finally asking, "Which one are you talking to now?"

Faylinn: "Annabel Lee. She was very popular in her day, but ended up getting involved in the wrong crowd. Her fiancee's friend decided that she wasn't worth him marrying to her."
Annabel: "And that bastard can rot in hell too." She smiled down at Isabella and knelt down next to her. "We're all such hurt girls..."

Annaleah: "Oh..." she said, again remembering Cricket. The wrong crowd. She hoped that didn't involve him...oh, who was she kidding? Of course it did. But he'd neer planned for it to be that way, so maybe he was an exception.

Mr. Sam: "Hmm, a boy. Some sort of game...Ah yes, i remember. Cricket."
Faylinn: I nodded. "Whose Cricket?"

Annaleah: She jumped a little. Faylinn wasn't lying when she said she could read minds. She contemplated whether or not she really wanted to tell her, but finally sighed. "Just a friend of mine, is all."

Faylinn: I pouted. "Not according to Mr. Sam. He can tell whatever a person values most. You helped a woman find her ring, right Mr. Sam?"
mr. Sam: "Oh yes. She accused me of stealing it and i was sentenced three years. But those were my younger years, i was much more blissful and ignorant of the evil in people's hearts."

Annaleah smirked. "Well, if Mr. Sam knows, then why doesn't he tell you? I'm not too happy to have to explain again. I've already tried to explain himto my sister, and that's far enough."
