Sorcery: A Twist In Time

Drake screetched up in front of the house, dust settling around him as he made his way out and spotted the two, his sharp vision seeing what others wouldn't

Artemis froze, not hearing Blakes words as ice filled her "bl-blake" she stuttered.
Drake raised a hand and they both came flying through the air toward him.

OOOOOH i remember part of it.

(Here we go..)

Grace: I felt anger shoot through me and my energy built up to a bursting point. "YOU CAN NOT HAVE HIM! HE IS FREE!" The earth began to shake violently.

Blake: I froze. Did I just hear..?

(Yes yes he did. She used so much energy that even Blake heard her.)

Autumn: I never really dreamed. I always, more often than not anyways, remembered. I wasn't particularly fond of the memory that decided to take place tonight.

"Please, please don't." Tears ran down my cheeks, my voice was small as the man caressed my cheek. I was pressed against the bed and he wouldn't let me up. I didn't know this man from Adam. I had seen him a couple times, but that was about it. His fingers traced the scars, my body cringing and trying to move away. I couldn't though. The next thing I knew I was waking up in my cell, crying from the pain that was still coursing through my body. I couldn't have been more than twelve.


I sat up screaming, tears rolling down my cheeks. Thunder had started up outside, followed by lightning and rain. I hugged myself tighter, my whole frame shaking from the memory. Gaia why couldn't I just die? Why?

"nooooooooooo" artemis screeched.
Drake ignore her and with a flick of his wrist, confined both to the inside his car. concentrating carefully, he sent pressure into a the back of each of their necks, knocking them out. He turned back to the ghost girl, "it's been you" he snarled, getting into the car and speeding off with his unconscious captives

Grace: I screamed, the earth ripping apart beneath my feet. Then I started to sob before blinking out. (She's a little ticked)

Blake: dreaming of life on the steers. Shuddered in his sleep.

Autumn: It took me forever to get ahold of myself. I stood infront of the camera, tears rolling down my cheeks. "Can you guys give me a song?" My voice breaking slightly. A song started to play, I didn't know it all that well, but I sang along with it.

On the first page of our story

Drake arrive back at the base. He had a guard drag blake back and sat examining Artemis for a moment. "and to think, I almost lost you" he stroked her cheek. Her sleeping form shuddered, as if she knew he was there. His face turned animistic "you will pay for this. oh yes, you will" he grabbed her and brought her into the cell room.
he ignored Autumn who he saw hovered in the corner. No, she would just distract him. He placed the girl in that same metal restraints as last time, preparing the device that tricked your nerves into thinking you're on fire

Blake: still sleeping

Autumn: I was back in my corner when Drake came in with what's her face. Not that I cared. I had myself wrapped tight in my blanket, my mind numb and focusing on nothing. Totally blank. I was distant from everything, as if i was watching myself from a different angle. Tears were still running down my cheeks. I hadn't been this upset in a long time.

Drake stared at the girl for a moment, her sleeping face was almost peaceful. More peaceful than it usually was at least. Oh well, it was now time to wake her. he flicked his wrist and sent Blake into the last viable cell. the locks clicked and he smiled, bringing the device to the girl neck.

Grace: I stormed down the halls of the building, the flooring tearing up behind me. I know I don't have enough power to tear the building down, but I had enough for this. I walked through a door and made energy rack my whole body. Guards stared at me in horror as the earth opened before them. "Anyone want to tell Drake I'm here?" I asked pointing to the door I knew he was behind.

Autumn: "Don't do it Drake." I said, my voice hollow and still shakey with tears. "Not tonight." I was still staring at nothing, not even sure why I was speaking.

Blake: I shook my head. My mind reliving the sceams as my sister pulled everything down around us. Keeping me safe in a cave of rock.

Artemis's eyes flew open and she gasped, the pain so brilliant it took her breath away. She just sat there, her mouth parted in an unspoken scream, wide eyed and spasming.
Drake looked at Autumn, his voice hallow as well as he kept the device firmly on the girl "she broke the rules, she must be punished" he whispered

Grace: "well?" I asked and saw one of the terrified guards nod and run into the room.

Autumn: I didn't say anything. Still blank, emotionless. I wasn't sure what to say. My eyes I'm sure looked lifeless, so I closed them. No point in him knowing how messed up I was tonight. "Then take it elsewhere. Please?" My voice still hollow, but was quiet and soft, a slight begging coloring the five words.

A guard ran in, preventing drake form responded "s-s-sir, you have a visitor" Drake flashed him an evil glare. "not now"

A gurgle found its way out of Artemis's mouth as her head began to swarm, the pain was so intense it was threatening her ability to stay conscious. not that she wanted to.
Blake?!
her eyes locked on Autumns blank face, and in one last desperate attempt, she propelled her mind forward, forcing the girl to meet her pleading gaze.

Autumn: I stared at Artemis. With reluctance I stood and walked over to Drake and put my hands ontop of his, coaxing him to removed the device. I stared up at him, my eyes nothing but pain. "Please. Not tonight."

It was like her touch brought Drake back to life. Without thought he pulled her into his arms and covered her mouth with his, cupping her head softly

Blake: my mind slowly surfaced. My thoughts slow to gather until, "Artemis! "

Grace: I stepped towards the door, catching a glimce of my skin as I did. I was almost solid, a soft, white glow coming off of me.

Autumn: I kissed him back gently, my hands clinging to his shirt. A tear once again rolled down my cheek. I let go, loosing myself in the embrace, in the kiss, letting all the pain I felt flow into it and out, away from me.

Artemis stared straight ahead, her eyes dead and unseeing. Never gaining freedom- she could handle. but getting freedom only to have it torn away again? her will left her, she was broken. he won

Drake kissed the tear off her cheek, unwillingly pulling away as he spotted the ghost girl storming into the room. he put her behind him and took on a defensive crouch

Autumn: I stared at the girl. She was small, probably no more than nine years old. My eyes still held a certain pain to them, but I turned my attention to Artemis. She wasn't exactly looking so great.

Grace: When I looked at him I didn't see the adult Drake. I saw the younger one who stood by the old boss and watched me and my brother be beaten, experimented on. Anger filled me from the depths of my soul and I heard myself screaming. "HAVEN'T YOU TAKEN ENOUGH? YOU TOOK OUR CHILDHOOD, TOOK MY LIFE. DO YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE GIRL HE LOVES AS WELL? WELL I HAVE NEWS YOU %#@$& #%#%*% #$#$. YOU NEED TO GO TO HELL."
