Sorcery: A Twist In Time

Blake: "prove it." I replied smiling.

Grace: "hellooooo." I called out as I came back I spotted Blake and Artemis and quietly snuck up behind Blake where Artemis couldn't see me.

Artremis frowned, about to respond when a familiar voice filled the air. She looked around for the source "grace?" she asked, confused

Drake continued to watch her quietly, hating himself for finding joy in her apparent contentness (sp?). "better?" he repeated, his voice silightly cocky. if you knew him well enough you'd hear how forced the mask was. he was slacking off, his voice less convincing. his facial expressions often slipping

Grace: "Ha!" I jumped on of Blake putting enough energy in my jump for him to feel it then grinned wickedly at Artemis.

Blake:....0.o

Autumn: I watched him for a minute as I chewed and swallowed. Something was...slightly different about him. I just couldn't decide what it was. "Why am I getting such special treatment? It's not often I get a decent meal and clean clothes, not to mention a blanket and heat." I raised my brow at him and popped another piece of food in my mouth. I probably shouldn't have said anything about the sudden change in the way he was treating me, because then he might stop. But I couldn't help myself. I was to cuirous. The phrase "curiosity killed the cat" was me to a T. Litterally, because I had died because of my curiosity. Or at least came close to it anyways.

Artemis bit back a laugh and placed a a reassuring hand on his "exactly how was she when she died? 7?" she asked him wryly

Drake fought hard to keep his mask firmly up and in place. "incentive" he replied briskly

Blake: I was gasping for breath. "Yes.." I managed.

Grace: I fell over laughing. "That look on his face was classic!"

Autumn: Now I was really curious. "To be good? I can live with that." I shrugged. Not that I had ever planned on not being good. I mean honestly, what was the point in rebeling when they're just gonna shoot you with tranq guns in the end? Or worse? "You seem...off. Rough day?" Again, I popped another piece of food in my mouth. I found out early on in my years without propper feeding, that if you ate in small bites and slowly when you did get food, it wouldn't make you sick. You'd actually be able to hold things down.

Drake refused to answer instead making move to stand up and leave. A guard bursted into the room. "sir, the other prisoners have escape"
Drake cursed, dread filling him. "which ones"
"you're pet, that girl. And that traitor, Blake"
A stream of curses fell from his lips. Artemis was gone? no! He was so close to... he snarled, he had to get them back
(ps, just watched that marron 5 vid on youtube. totally fits our charries! XD)

A grin broke across Artemis's face "you both sure are something" she shook her head, laughing

Autumn: Pet? I felt my heart break a little bit more at that, but I acted like I was indifferent to the whole thing and watched quietly. "Well, go on. Chase down your precious play toys." I said after a moment, making a shooing motion with my hand. I needed a distraction from my pain, aka karaoke, and I couldn't really do it with him there.

Blake: "She was always up to something. Wither it was putting hot sauce in the guards food.they were really different in their treatment of us, I don't know why. There always seemed to be a guard with us. Anyway, she even made one trip and slam his face into a wall of rock she made."

Grace: I grinned and jumped from Blake into the air. "Fun times."

Drake stormed out in a flurry, sending orders here and there to prepare the guards and search squads

Autumn: As soon as he was gone I shoved the food away, unable to eat anything. I stood and brushed my hands on my pants and looked at the camera. "You guys got any good music?" I asked curiously. I waited a moment and just when I was about to give up, music came through the speakers and I smiled. Now this was a good karoake party. "Hello by evenessance, guys." The music switched and I smiled wider. I grabbed hold of the "mic" and began to sing again.

Blake: "you know." I said rolling on mybback. "I've always been surprised Drake didn't have any clue that Blake Johnson was really that scared little kid Blake Heidly whose sister destroyed a million dollar government building."

Artemis chuckled at the thought "seems it" she smiled at the two, how is it one guy could make her forget it all? how could one guy make the rare smiles and laughter become such a common occurrence?

Drake slammed the car door and accelerated, he had a hunch where to find them.

Artemis looked up at him with wide eyes "you did?!"

Autumn: The song changed and I quickly found myself loosing in the rifts of the guitar. Screaming out the parts that needed it.

I sang a few more songs after that then gave a slight bow to the camera and picked up my blanket and headed to a corner and curled up in it, holding myself until I fell asleep.

Blake : I chuckled, "yes. Grace didn't go down easily. She took everything with her." My voice grew soft. "She pulled the building down on top of her."

Grace : I wiped an irritating tear off my cheek.

Artemis felt a tear fall down her cheek and she let it fall "I'm sorry" she whispered, squeezing his hand

Drake accelerated, his sharp eyes spotting his destination. He gripped the steering wheel. He was going to get her back, at all cost he was going to get Artemis back

Grace: I winced, never one for pity. I laid a hand on Blake's arm and felt a tickling feeling. Huh.
(She's getting the power she gave to him back.)
Blake: I smiled at her. "It was what kept me going when I was little and a kid on the streets. What led me to get a job working for Drake."
