Sorcery: A Twist In Time

Blake: I stepped back out of the shower and ran a towel through my hair. Man that felt good. "You still awake?" I asked walking back into the room.

Artemis peeked out from under the covers and gave him a shy smile "ya"

Drake tightened his hold on here, never wanting to let her go "nothing," he whispered, inhalling her pleasant scent, "just a dream.." he tried to convince himself

Blake: I walked over to the bed and smiled, "well that's good." slipping under the covers next to her I couldn't help but think even though we were running for our lives I wouldn't change this night for the world. I moved closer to her and closed my eyes. "Are you comfortable?"

Ryder: I sat there in the awkward silence with Lana's date. Staring at some papers I had gotten from the office before opening the door so as to make my story more plausable.

Autumn: I watched him for a moment. I was skeptical, but I let it slide. I sighed and kissed him gently. "It's ok. I'm right here." I murmered.

Lana: I finally was ready and walked back out into the room, "Ryder!" I hissed quietly knowing he would hear but my date wouldn't. "How do I look?"

Artemis snuggled up closer to him "very" she replied resting he head on his v
Chest. Dispite all that happened today she felt safe... How did he do that to her?

Ryder: I looked up and apraised her. I gave a slight nod, only enough for her to see. Jeez. I felt like I was her gal pal. Totally felt stripped of all masculinity. But, she's boss I guess. Oh well.

Lana: I smiled broadly, "Great." Walking forward I couldn't help but compare this guy to Ryder. I was a little disappointed when my mind drew the idea that Ryder was much better looking. Oh well, that's Ryder for ya. Good looking but with a mouth to turn away any girls. "Hello." I told the guy.
"Hey." I frowned, what a simple response.
"Let's get going, where would that be to be exact?" I asked and the guy frowned.
"Umm, I was thinking of going to the Burger Shack then to the Bowling Alley for a few games and a beer."

Ryder: I couldn't help but smirk as I looked at her over the paper work, a cup of coffee in my hand. That was so not Lana's idea of a date

Lana: I took a deep breath pushing away my panther side's insistence that we should kill the guy and go back into my room. "How, refreshing."

Ryder: I chuckled and shook my head. "Hey, listen you two. I expect her to be back by eleven, and no funny buisness." I gave a piercing look to her date and then smiled like I was joking, even though I was dead serious about the funny buisness. "Get outa here and have some fun." I muttered and went back to the paperwork.

Lana: I shot Ryder a look that said I am going to kill you for leaving me with this guy.! And looked at the guy, he looked so sophisticated, how did this happen? I sighed and walked towards the door, then froze.
"What's that?" I pointed towards an obviously mistreated truck.
"My car."
"Your truck."
"Yeah, whatever."
Whatever?! I wanted to scream.

Blake: "Good," I said and placed an arm over her. "I'm glad." I felt myself start to drift off.

Ryder: I rolled my eyes and decided to save Lana from her apparent "crisis." I ran out the door with a phone to my ear. "Lana! It's the boss, there's been an emergancy at the factory and he wants us there ASAP."

Lana: Thank you, I almost screamed in my head. "I'm sorry, maybe some other time." I told the guy and walked back into the house. Try never!
"thanks Ryder." I told him and peeked out the window. "Did you see what his truck looked like? He's practically destroyed it!" I threw my purse on the counter and dropped myself on the couch. "I need some Tylenol."

Ryder: I sighed and appeared in her bathroom and then next to her with a bottle of Tylenol. I glanced at her, then my jaw set and I grabbed her by the arm and grabbed her purse. We appeared outside a nice Italian place. I appraised it and nodded. "come on. I'm starved."

Lana: "Oh, Thank you!" I said and hugged him, then jumped back face red. I turned away without a word and walked towards the door.

Ryder: I shrugged it off and followed her in. "ryder." I told the man and he led us to a table out on the balcony.

Lana: I looked to him impressed, "You have your own table?" Fancy Italian places that know him by name, acually caring how I feel for once, maybe there's more to Ryder than I thought.

Artemis laid silently on his chest, she was tired but somehow she couldn't sleep. They were free? Again? When would this good dream end? She didn't wan to sleep and risk waking up to find it over
Drake led them back to them back the bed, stroking her back " sorry to wake you" he told her, abashes

Blake: Falls asleep and begins snoring slightly.

Artemis chuckled softly and began to lightly trace his chest. her eyes becoming distant as she let her 'mask' fall

Blake: I rolled over in my sleep, "Artemis." I smiled.

Ryder: I looked at her. "What? I have a life outside of work." I shrugged indignantly and slumped into my seat.
"The usual?"
"Um, lets go with the '40 red tonight please."
"Of course sir. Would you like a minute to look over the menu?"
"Um, yes I think she will need to look it over for a moment."
The waiter nodded and walked off.

Autumn: I cuddled next to him again and smiled. "It's alright, I was awake anyway. I've been awake for a while."

Lana: I glanced at him and shook my head. "I just realized how little I know you." I thought about it for a moment and decided to fix that. "Alright, you say you have a life out side of work, is there a family?"

Warmth filled artemis and she smiled wide. Suddenly finding herself tired, she drifted off and into a dreamless state

Drake frowned "you have? why didn't you wake me?"
