Alison looked up and saw a boy. He was too close. "Um... I dont know... Why?" She studdered.

Noah pursed his lips. "It's just unnerving to see an angry looking girl all by herself in the streets," he said, apologetically.

Alison stared at him. "um.. Im fine.. I think.. um.." She still couldnt stop her self from lookiing at how warm his eyes were and the curve of his jaw. She felt her heart melt but she stopped her self. "Im Alison." She said.

Noah smiled a little. "Noah," he said, sticking out a hand for her to shake. "So do you have a place to be, Alison?" he asked.

Ryder grumbled something about needing nothing more than a good piece of grass as he stumbled away.

"I have room," Lucia called, losing her volume in the last half of her sentence. It was a last stich effort to get him off the streets. They were dangerous enoug and decidedly more to intoxicated teenagers. She didn't want him getting hurt.

Alison shook her head. "Nope.. no one cares where I am." She answered flatly.

Noah shook his head. "I'm sure that's not true... But none the less. I just bought a variety of coffees and maybe you would come and try them with me?" He asked. It was a long shot, pcicking a girl up on the street that wasn't a prostitue.

Alison laughed softly and nodded. "Ok if you dont mind me comming." She said.

Ryder collapsed again under a different tree, this time totally passed out.

Morning came swiftly and he groaned as the light shined in his eyes, his head throbbing and his stomach rolling. Curses flying from his mouth.

Lou was on her way to work.

Noah shook his head. "Of course I don't mind! I invited you, didn't I?" He laughed. He switched his coffee to the arm farthest from her and pointed to a complex of apartments. "I live right up there," he said, motioning near the top.

Lucia had given up after he had collasped again, pursing her lips and heading to her car. She slept in the front seat, not willing to drive home on a flat. When the morning light hit her eyelids, she was up. She swept her blonde hair into a ponytail and reached into the backseat, grabbing a floral dress with a red belt and changed in the car.

Alison laughed and nodded. "Nice apartment building." She said laughing.

Noah smiled half-heartedly. "Yeah, it's pretty nice," he smiled. They got to the building and walked in. Instantly, they headed for the elevator and he pressed the 12th floor. There were only 14 floors.

Alison watched his face closely. It was strong and sharp. She liked the way his eyes looked at her once in awhile. Her cheeks felt hot.

Lucia stepped out of the car, a few strands of fair hanging loosely on her neck. She started toward the parts store and passed the tree where Ryder slumped, looking, and sounding quite angry. "Good morning," she said, but couldn't keep a slightly acidic tone out of her voice.

Noah smiled as the elevator dinged and started out, heading toard his room and he unlocked the door swiftly. "Right this way," he said, holding the door for her.

Alison walked through and smiled. It was small and cute. It felt warm and nice. She couldnt help but laugh at how much she liked it.

Noah smiled as she laughed, but it probably meant she didn't like it. "What?" He asked, curiously. He started the coffee maker, filling it so only two cuts would brew.

Alison watched him. "I like this place. Its small and cozy."

Noah's smile ragained its strength. "Thanks," he said. The coffee machine dinged and he poured two cups, setting out the cream and sugar inscare she wanted any. He added both to his cup and smile, tasting the coffee. It was good.

Alison got her cup of coffee and drank it black. She sighed the coffee filled her up with warmth. She sighed and shivered.

"You're yelling again." Ryder mumbled as he sat himself up against the tree. "What is it with you and always yelling?" He rubbed his face and blinked a few times, his eyes adjusting to the bright light.

Lou opened up the shop and started getting things ready for yet another very dull day

Lucia laughed, but actually toned down the volume. "I'm not yelling. You're just hungover," she said, pursing her lips. "I have tylenol in the car if you want some," she said, half heartedly. What did he care?

Noah finished his cup and looked at the other kinds. "I don't actually want to try all of those... I'd be up all night on a caffiene rush," he chuckled. "Let's talk," he said, jerking his head toward the plush couch in the living room.

Alison nodded and sat down. "What should we talk about then?" She asked. Her feet aked and she began to rub them.

Ryder nodded. "That would be great." he muttered
