Daughter of Darkness

Dani growled and pinned the girl, a smirk on her lips. "I know what you need." She managed to press the button on her pager for Drake.

Drake came storming in "what now-" his eyes lit up as he spotted artemis "my, my, what a pleasant surprise. " he bent down by her head, "good job, dani. now if you don't mind" he grabbed artemis firmly. She fell still, her struggles ceasing

"Not at all." She said with a smirk. "She interrupted my work." She gesture at the bloody Kale. "And now he's passed out I believe. I have to wake him up. She has caused me quite the problem."

"Artemis!" Kale shouted as he forced himself from his clouded mind and struggled against the chains, the cuffs digging into his wrists till they began to bleed. He growled, the chains starting to give way from the wall. He shouted again, the noise shaking the place, making rocks fall, hitting Drake in the head.

drake smirked, "artemis? lively? and I missed it? drats. Well I do have some lose ends to tie up what with the break out, why don't you do me a favor and have fun with her till I can clear my schedule for the evening?"
the boy started to freak out and Drake rubb his now sore head, glaring at the boy before quickly sticking him with a sedative. he stroked artemis's face "oh, and do it in front of the boy, too. that oughta be fun" he grinned and departed, meaning that more as an order than an option

Kale felt his head cloud over again. This time it was harder to fight. He looked at Artemis, tears streaming down his face, mingling with his blood.

Dani frowned, What the ****?!" as she dodged a rock.
"Sounds like a wonderful idea." She replied with a scowl. She had a few issues with Artemis as he called her and would love to repay them. She wiped the blood from where she'd gotten cut and gripped Artemis roughly and cuffed her two a chair. Remembering what she'd heard of the girls power she gave a small sedative that would dull the mind but leave her wide open to pain. Then grabbed the cow prod and stuck Kale with it.

Artemis's head grew foggy and she fought hard to make everything make sense. She watched her stick kale with something but didn't react, it didn't seem real. only pain seemed real.

Kale shouted, but quickly silenced himself, pursing his lips tight as he came out of the stupor.

Dani smiled, "Just wanted to make sure you were paying attention. Lets we how she likes it." Dani swung around and pressed the prod to Artemis's shoulder, actually the same one she had stabbed in the fight.

Artemis's eyes widened but she otherwise stayed silent, not letting dani win

Kale growled and glared at her and began to struggle against the chains again, pulling them from the wall a bit more.

Artemis had enough piece of mind to reach out and put a hold on kale, binding him to the wall. She didn't want him getting in the girls line of fire

Kale growled and struggled against it. "NO! STOP IT *********!"

Dani frowned, "This isn't good enough?" She walked over to the cart. "Ill have to find something stronger......" she pulled out one of the sticks. Looking it over she decided it was the heat stick. "This will do." She presses the button and let the end heat up even higher than she did for Kale before drawing a line down her arm.

Artemis clenched her jaw, holding back a scream and meeting the girls eyes with a defiant look.
her insides were torn apart by kale's struggles. he needed to stop, he couldn't let dani know the way to him was her. bad idea

Kale growled. His heart was breaking as he watched, but he quickly ran out of strength, he blood flowing freely from his open chest as his body dropped, and his mind began to be enveloped by darkness again.

Dani frowned and raised the heat, making the top of the line into a rose bud.

Dani glanced at Kale and scowled, walking over to him she seared the cuts she'd made into his chest. A painful way to stop the blood flow but she really didn't care. When done she walked back over and continued with Artemis.

A small gasp escaped her lips but Artemis otherwise remained stead fast. She even managed to raise an eyebrow as she spotted the picture being seared into her flesh

Kale's body twitched at the feel of the hot iron, but that was about all it did.

Dani finished the picture then headed over to her cart, clicking the stick off as she did. "Hm, what do you feel like playing with? I've got a branding iron, vast collection of blades, several more of my stick friends, ooo " her eyes lit up. I could bring one of my guard friends in here. He loves playing with pretty girls."

Artemis's composure fell, fear flashing across her face "what, too weak to make me crack yourself?" she scoffed

"No but Jake likes to help every now and then. He seems to think it'll keep his sister from my room. I guess it has." She pulled out a cell phone and began flipping through her contacts.
