Till Death Do Us Part..

Capria's eyes widened and she shook her head. "No, no! It wasn't you," she assured the girl.

Grace nodded and leaned back into Brendon, "I'm Grace."

Brendon looked at Capria. "Please, don't feel like you have to go." His arms still comfoting Grace. He didn't know exactly how to handle all this...he just knew he was being a comfort.

Grace felt safe with him she decided. If she didn't leave maybe things would be okay....

(That's because Brendon and Capria came back to the garage. Then Mark told Brendon that Grace was in the car. but here)

Mark looked at Artemis. "Need to pit stop? We'll be leaving any minute now."

(>.< oh.. i've been out of it lately...)
Artemis shook her head, wrapping a nervous arm around herself. there was a crowd now... she didn't like crowds

"You gonna be ok?" Mark wasn't looking at Artemis, rather he was playing with his guitar so as to not attract un-needed attention to her.

Artemis stared down at her palm, tracing his mark as it shone brightly "ya.. we leaving or not?"

"Ya, I can make Brendon take his own car. I just wanted to make sure he was alright." Mark stood, keeping hold of his guitar and walked over towards Brendon, Grace, and Capria as he heaved his backpack onto his shoulder. "We're headed out. We'll meet you at Sweet Home." He declared and looked at Grace. "You got my keys?"

Brendon looked at Mark and gave a small nod. He knew that Mark was still a little hurt from him breaking their bond. But he couldn't leave Grace to be tortured. "Capria, you want to ride with me? Or with Mark?"

"No....." Grace murmured looking down. She'd been to distracted by Brendon to grab the keys......

"Are they in the car?" Mark asked as he watched Grace.

"Probably......" she replied not looking up. He made her nervous. The only Guy who'd touched her and not hurt her was Brendon. Mark was his brother so she wouldn't just write him off for being a Guy, but still.....

Mark gave a small nod and directed Artemis towards his car.

Artemis complied, silently slipping in and pulling her sleeves down over her hands

Mark found the keys and stuck them into the ignition and started the car, turning on the radio again. He took a deep breath, tossing his backpack and guitar into the back seat. His eyes seemed sad, maybe even a little distant as they pulled away.


Brendon sighed as he watched the Bugatti go and looked back at Capri and Grace. "Guess we're taking the Shelby." He smiled.

Grace grinned, "That's fine with me. I like it better."

Brendon smiled and walked into the garage and opened the garage door and got into his new shelby and backed her out and pulled up to where the girls were. "Need to pit stop before we go?"

Artemis watched him ".. you okay?"

"Ya," Mark smirked at her, though it wasn't his usual smirk. It didn't reach his eyes. "So, you been to Alabama before?"

Artemis frowned "no, I've never been out of state... you sure you're okay?"

Mark looked over at her and sighed. "Ya, I'm fine Artemis." He said softly. "Just..lots on my mind." He looked out the window again and sighed, singing softly with the radio, trying to distract himself.

Grace shook her head, "I'm good."

Brendon gave a small nod. "Then climb in you two." He said with a smile.

Grace grinned and jumped in the car, making sure to grab the seat next to him.
