Till Death Do Us Part..

Brendon sighed and ran a hand through his hair. Mark was probably going to kill him for this. "You...you can come with us if you don't have anywhere else to go."

Capria looked up at him, not letting her hopeful smile break through. "Thanks," she muttered. "I appreciate it."

Emerson follwed after him, feeling extremely contrained. He didn't have physical constraints, but something about his power kept Emerson from stepping out of turn. He kept his eyes down as he follwed, too.

Grumbling under his breath about annoying mediators Allen led him though the woods until they reached the edge where there was a black vortex waiting for them. Pointing to the other seat Allen growled, "Get in." And dropped himself in the drivers seat.

"You're a mediator?" Brendon asked as they reached town and started towards his garage.

Emerson nodded and got into the other seat. he was suprised, becoming a ghost. He had thought he would have had cool powers, like flying or teleporting or even invisibility, but instead, he had to walk. Walk!

Capria nodded and looked up at the buildings in the town. She saw the old apartment she used to live in and saw boards nailed over windows and the black lines of a char, indicating some sort of fire. "Are you?"

Still growling under his breath Allen sped through town, towards his other hideout.

"Ya, me and my brother." Brendon said as they reached the garage. He walked in and saw Artemis on the couch and Mark in the corner with his guitar.

Capria nodded, smiling thoughfully. "I guess I never really knew there were others around here," she murmured. "Especially so close."

Emerson sits in the car.

Allen stopped the car in front of a huge town house and almost ripped the door off of Emerson's side in his anger. "Come on." he growled.

Brendon gave a small nod. "There's three of us, with you that makes four. We're planning on splitting though. It's not safe to stay."

"Grace is in my car, you should probably go get her." Mark said, still playing Hallelujiah (sp?)

Brendon sighed and gave a small nod and walked out to Mark's Buggoti.

Grace was tossing back in forth, still sleeping. Nightmares causing her to whimper.

Brendon opened the door and shook her slightly. "Grace?"

Grace jumped back, fear making her tremble. She relaxed slightly upon seeing Brendon. Slightly.

"Hey, hey it's ok." Brendon said as he sat on the seat and held out his hand to her. "Come on, it's alright. You're safe now."

Grace took it hesitantly, basically in the same state she was in when they met. Scared and weary of people.

Brendon helped her out of the car and pulled her into a gental hug. "It's alright Grace, no one's gonna hurt you any more. I promise."

Grace let him hug her, silent tears falling down her cheeks. "H-how do you know that? He always finds me." He voice was broken.

"Because, I will protect you." Brendon said as he held her close. "I will always, protect you." He rubbed her back gently. "It's going to be ok, Grace. I promise."

Grace just cried for a moment, before whispering softly, "Thankyou Brendon, for everything."

"Anytime, Grace." Brendon said as he gently led her back to where everyone was.

Capria looked around awkwardly before heading back toward the door. She was Brendon hugging some crying girl. "Um... I'm actually not going to stay. I feel like I'd just be in the way of all of you," she said. Not to mention that it was awkward as Hell.

Grace looked up, "No, don't let me stop you from staying." She said guessing the girl didn't like ghosts.
