--Daycare--

Castle: After a moment I turned the truck over, pinching the axel and twisting off the wheel. "Oops," I murmured, letting it drop and walking over to another area of the room.

Cricket
"Ah..." I thought about that for a moment and continued slowly. "I...don't really know, actually...what do you like t' do?"

Marley
"Uhm..." Stay alive, avoid Hunters, stay on my brothers' good sides? "I like to... sing?"

Cricket
"Who doesn't?" I laughed.

Girl
"Lots of people don't like to sing" I said, giving him a strange look

Cricket
"Pardon? Well...I guess some...but they're no fun." I gave her a strange look back.

Girl
"Yea, I guess" I mean, Dorian and Alex hated singing and they were no fun.

Tommy looked at Leslie in envy, "Looks like fun...wish I could fly."

Teeny!Ezra walked outside, eyeing the playset. There were alot of kids on it. He took off towards the slide.

Andrew saw Ezra run across the field, "Oh look...emo runt is here."

"I don't like red. It looks like...bad things." I said, again pushing back...bad things. Why did my brain keep trying to make me think about it? It was making me quite angry, My brain.

"I only like it in certain shades. Each color is different..." said Evan, looking at it from in artist's view point.

Mr.Face:

I could not believe my ears. Well...I mean...I kind of had to. But Was someone...flying? The very idea of that was ridiculous. I mean...That was impossible. The person landed on whatever thing was infront of me and continued talking to...another occupant of the outdoors. In fact, I could hear a lot more people out here now. I interrupted my own question to turn towards Nike. "Erm...Was someone just flying? Because that's what it sounded like, and...I thought I might be experiencing auditory hallucinations."

T.Mor:

"It still is the same colour as bad things." I replied.

Sarah

"Maaaybe you should talk about something else, Evan," I suggested. Wow...this kid could not take a hint. Couldn't he tell that he was bothering this T.Mor kid with his persistent questions?


Nike

"No, you're right," I told him. "She was flying. She has wings like a bird's."

Castle: I found a box of blocks, then I sat down next to it, thrusting my hand in the box and pulling out a handful. Leaning back against the wall, I began to slid them, one by one, along the floor.

T.Mor:

"Yeah...erm. Yeah." I agreed with the girl...if she'd mentioned her name I hadn't caught it though. "Erm...Can...can we talk about something else? Please?" I asked grateful for the girl's interruption.

Mr.Face:

She'd already explained what a bird was. That explanation was helpful. "Why? Genetics?" I asked curiously.

Nike

"Yep," I said with a nod. "I think she's a Part human/ai'reija. See, humans aren't genetically similar enough to successfully mate with anyone but other humans, but since the different universes influence each other, you get a variety of mixes in the middle."

Mr.Face:

"That's interesting. Can you have transuniversal mixing then as well? What are the genetic implications of that?" I asked, hoping I wasn't being too...I think the word is abstract. I needed to go home and reread the dictionary. I ws forgetting words again.

Nike

"Humans can mix perfectly well with humans from other planes," I told him. "And depending on how much of a different species is in a Part human, they might be able to mix with full humans. There could be some problems, though. It's too broad a scope for me to give you a better answer than that."

Mr.Face:

"That is a sufficiently detailed answer for someone who's not a professionally educated geneticist." I said, with a grin. I liked that she understood me the first time. I hate repeating myself.

Castle: After a while, I started to ricochet the blocks off of eachother, making them slide much farther than they were supposed to.

Nike

"Thanks," I said, grinning back. "I read a lot of books. I find this sort of thing fascinating."

Mr.Face:

"Do you listen to them on tape? My tape library is absolutely dismal. And it's even worse finding things in braille...The exchange cost is astronomical." I was hoping for something better than 'The comprehensive Oxford English Dictionary' for reading materials. "I mean...Anything. Even if it's just...Some useless novella or something. Relistening to the whole 'R' section of the dictionary can drive one up a wall." I grinned.

"So...um what do you guys like to do?" asked Evan.

T.Mor:

"I like to sleep...and eat." I said. I could get behind this subject change. It was not about bad things. This was a good thing.

Castle: After a moment, I grab a bunch of blocks in my hand and walk outside, planning to throw them over the fence or something.

Nike

"No, I just read them," I answered. "I don't have any audiobooks. Sorry."
